Very spacious and clean home. Plenty of gathering areas for a large group. The host was responsive as needed. Having said that, we were disappointed that the towels had been put away very damp so we had to dry them all upon arrival. Also disappointing was the lack of soap and body wash in the bathrooms, as described in the listing.We would like to suggest adding a second coffee maker. The Keurig worked fine but a second one would be more efficient. We also would have liked to see an information binder with nearby places of interest and restaurant recommendations.

Good trip

The only issues we had during our stay was when we checked in the cleaning crew was still there for approximately 30 minutes mopping floors. The home was not as clean as expected and we were surprised by the pool company.

Excellent Gathering Place

My father, who lives in Clearwater and thirteen others from out of town stayed together to celebrate his 80th birthday. It was wonderful to have our family eating around the big table together and hanging out in the same room watching the game. We enjoyed our time outside and around the pool with more than enough seating for everyone.There was also plenty of room for individual space and privacy if needed and it did not feel crowded at all. I had a few questions along the way and the communication was always excellent with our hosts!

If you’re considering booking this property, know this: the photographer deserves a raise. The listing photos promised elegance and polish—but the reality was more of a rough draft.To be fair, there are highlights. The dining area was spacious and lovely, with ample seating for a large group. There were plenty of beds, and the pool was usable, though chipped tiles and an unkempt yard gave it a bit of a “fixer-upper” vibe.The kitchen is technically stocked, but in a “scavenger hunt” kind of way—odds and ends galore, but no measuring cups or real functionality. Instructions for the room A/C units would have saved us some time and confusion. And while space wasn’t lacking, many of the details were: broken closet doors, chipped paint, a tub sprayer that connected to nothing, and a master bed that had clearly seen better days.This home is the definition of “all fur coat and no knickers.” If someone ever takes this place on as a project, you’ll be lucky to get a booking. But for now, be prepared to bring a bit of patience.

House was spacious and easy to access. Living area, kitchen and dining are great for social time. There are contradictory statements regarding the pool in the info. There is one place it says not heated, and one or two places that say heated. It was in fact NOT heated. Outside was a little rough looking (but also kinda typical for older homes in FL), and looks like it hasn’t been maintained well. Inside was nice but looks like it is still in the process of being updated (paint missing behind barn doors, closets that wouldn’t close, one master bathroom door kept coming off the track, other master bath door isn’t functional (the silver lock/handle part isn’t even attached to the door), master shower has rainfall shower headtop and bottom side shower heads but the bottom doesn’t work). We had a few issues when we first got there (towels were folded but still wet so we had to put all towels back through the dryer). I messages the hosts regarding the issues and they did respond quickly and resolved the other issues by sending the pool company out to clean after the storm and dropped off more washcloths. The house was certainly adequate for our needs and was very clean. We would stay here again, we would just be sure to bring the things we need that we expected to be there such as 2 ply toilet paper and shampoo/conditioner/body wash so we don’t have to go buy them.Note: If you have small children, the pool area is VERY easy to access. The back door is only a screen door.
