Great remote property, family of deer visit the orchard multiple times per day (if your dog is like mine, she'll let you know haha). Wifi was great, cell service (verizon) was full strength. Yard is not fenced. Very quiet and secluded walks in the area, including some fun trails in the back of the property.

This spot was magical. I came with a few women for an art retreat and we loved this home tucked in the woods. The apple orchard in the front yard had a family of deer there all day long nibbling on the leaves and lounging the shade. The rooms and beds were comfortable and the hot tub was a great way to end each day.

We liked how remote this property was. Perfect place to disconnect and chill over the weekend. Hot tub was amazing. It was great to be able to bring our dog along. The deer herd (at one point we counted 10 of them) that kept visiting and peacefully grazing in the backyard was an added element of zen.

Great place to connect with nature

This property is a true gem in the middle of nature with a lot to do within the property (short walks, hot tub, orchard, huge backward). It was a great way to unplug and connect to nature. The house itself is spacious and looks recently renovated. Hope to be back soon!

Peaceful property

Lovely, secluded property with a peaceful atmosphere. We really enjoyed sitting outside and watching the deer. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to use the hot tub, but hopefully next time! The host was very responsive and accommodating.

Had some confusion and bumps with the price increasing related to amount of guests, which was not transparent in the initial listing. Ended up with a much higher rate, the host agreed to remove 100 from the total, but still more than we had bargained for. Beautiful property, great set up. Bedrooms on one wing of the house separated from the living quarters made for a very quiet and restful space. Beds were comfortable, linens were soft, beautiful wood floors.Some suggestions? There were no mirrors in the house whatsoever except for the bathroom, and with a house full of ladies, this was a bit of a challenge. :)I’d suggest bringing a sleep mask, as all of the curtains were sheer and the early morning sunrise made sleeping in difficult.Other than that, hot tub was super appreciated, the house is stylish and comfortable in the kitchen was stocked with basics!

Wonderful Home in the Woods

Very nice home in a gorgeous location. So nice to reconnect with nature. With the exception of the frequent gunshots (I’m guessing the neighbors’ target practice), it was very tranquil. Exactly what we were hoping for! Quality amenities and furnishings. Surprisingly comfortable bed with very soft sheets. Impressively broad book collection and great board game choices! Thanks for a wonderful time!

A peaceful spot for the 4th of July weekend. Saturday night you could hear the fireworks show outside of town. But nothing too crazy and our dog was able to eventually settle. Highly recommend if you or your pets are looking to escape the chaos. Would rent again.
