These folks understand the meaning of hospitality!We had an excellent experience with the bonus of an incredible view of their horses feeding while the sun came up every morning as we enjoyed our coffee. We will definitely be back. Thank you Sheryl and Jeff.

The ranch was a lovely, quiet place to stay with plenty of room not only inside, but also a large property to hike around. The horses were extra special and really enhanced our stay- you can tell how well loved they are.

Wonderful stay at the Horse Ranch!

When we were in Merrill to visit family and attend my dad's memorial, we stayed at this rental. My husband and I, our two adult children and our daughter-in-law all stayed at the Chism Horse Ranch. The setting is beautiful! Having grown up in Merrill, I appreciated the green fields, woods, and horse pastures. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the horses (there was a very cute colt in the mix), and even got to take in a "rodeo" type event in their indoor arena. We didn't have time to spend riding or exploring the trails, but really appreciated the beautiful surroundings and tranquility of the ranch. Even though it was quite busy the night of the arena event, we still felt like we had our privacy and quiet when we needed it. Sheryl and her family were very welcoming and helpful at all times. The rental space was lovely and very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Though there isn't a stove/oven at the property, we were able to make some meals using the microwave. There is not a washer/dryer in the rental space; that would have been nice--but it wasn't absolutely necessary for us. The views from the large windows were just beautiful. We would recommend this rental and will definitely consider it again if we need a place to stay while visiting family in the Merrill area. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Sheryl and family!

Great Getaway

Would definitely recommend! The accommodations were very comfortable, and our group had a lot of fun taking a trail ride through the beautiful property.

Mini Yellowstone Getsway

Super cool property with horses onsite. Great getaway for any family. Wish there was a oven but really not that big of a deal. Would come back in a heartbeat. Hosts were always available and very friendly.
