English basement in Petworth, DC. Full kitchen, one bedroom, and separate office nook. Open concept living and dining room. Colorful bathroom with shower and jacuzzi tub. Shared backyard with seating and fire pit.

Walker’s paradise (walk score 91). Easy 7 min walk to Metro Green and Yellow lines (Georgia Ave. Petworth station). Also within 5-10min walk are two grocery stores, pharmacy, and many restaurants and bars. 1 metro stop from Target. Easy street parking. Dishes and cookware provided.
The space
Full kitchen, plus an office nook off the living room. Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Shared outdoor space with fire pits and nice neighbors (us!)
Guest access
Whole apartment to yourself (2 private entrances). We live upstairs. Shared spaces are: patio, backyard, and a basement storage area (outside of basement back door).
Other things to note
Please respect our home! We have worked hard to make this a place we love to live and share with our guests.

1. No smoking (of any substance) on the property. No illegal activity.
2. Pets must be preapproved. Limit 2 pets. Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside of the apartment. No aggressive breeds allowed.
3. No parties. A couple of daytime visitors are ok. All overnight guests must be approved in advance.
4. The TV has a FireStick (so you can stream content in 4K) but there is not cable or satellite in the unit. You need to use your own account for subscription services (Netflix, Prime, Disney+ etc) to watch TV. Instructions for the FireStick are next to the TV.
5. We are set up as a furnished apartment, not a hotel. We provide coffee, soap, detergent, paper products, etc. for the first week, but after that we expect you to refill consumables like you would at home.
6. We use professional maids to clean and launder everything between guests. If there is something they overlooked, please let us know so we can add it to their checklist.
7. The coffee maker is a Nespresso Vertuo system; pods are available online or at Target. There is also a French press.
