Stylish Garage Apt. Self-Check in - Marin Hiking!

This stylish and rustic garage apartment is quiet and comfortable. There is a queen bed and a small futon/ couch that unfolds into a single. Enjoy cooking in the small but sweet kitchen filled with basic cooking utensils and appliances. Open up the Marin Hiking Guide and hop on a trailhead. Walk out the door and hop on a 45-minute trail loop filled with amazing views and even some environmental art pieces. There is no TV at Le Garage. Be sure to bring your laptop downloaded with your favorite movies and show.

We are 3.2 miles away from Fairfax which is filled with amazing shopping, a vibrant music scene, local coffee, and an ice cream shop that will blow your mind. Not to mention our Good Earth Organic Grocery Store. Nearby San Anselmo also offers great shopping and well-known restaurants.

Parking is available for only one car. No trucks/Vans allowed. Off-street parking is available for an extra car or for your truck.

We are in a very quiet area, so this stay is perfect for folks looking to enjoy some peace and serenity. Perfect for one person, a couple or a couple with one child under 10 (the futon is small). Sorry. No pets. We have a very protective pooch (Noella) but she's also a love. She may come to say hey. We are up in the hills with no tower in site so WiFi is the only means. Getting here can be tricky if you are using GPS as you will lose signal as you approach the house. Please use the directions in the welcome email.

You will have access to the entire apartment with your own key. All requests must be verified! Enjoy yourself and welcome to beautiful Marin County!

This rental is in a beautiful and quiet neighborhhod. The towns of fairfax and san anselmo are just minutes away with lots of dining options and grocery stores. You can go for a hike in the hills nearby. The property was clean and comfortable and the host very respomsive.

What a lovely peaceful stay in San Anselmo! We stayed here to attend a family event in San Rafael and we loved our stay here. If you’re into birding there are lots of birds in the area. It’s a nice peaceful area and the apartment has everything you need! Silvana was amazing & responsive as well, we would definitely stay here again if/when we come to visit family.

Peaceful setting

Basic amenities all provided in the hills of San Anselmo. Beautiful setting in a quiet neighborhood. If you want a serene get away from the bustle of Marin Co. check out Garage Apt.

Tucked away!

Once you master the twisty streets, you will love the seclusion and ease of parking. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed including a comfortable bed. Would recommend for one or two people.

Excellent Stay at Le Garage

What a great VRBO! I think its one of the best ones I have stayed at. It has everything we needed and more. We really enjoyed it. The host communication is excellent.

Quiet, Peaceful, and Secluded

This hilltop apartment is a great place to stay if you don't want the hustle and bustle of being in the heart of the big city, and it is quite affordable. It is close to the center of San Anselmo and Imagination Park, which honors the birthplace of both Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Both Insalatas and Sol Food are great places to grab food and downtown San Anselmo is a wonderful place to walk and shop. The San Francisco Bay Area attractions and UC Berkeley are about 30 minutes away depending on traffic, and this is a great spot if you also want to explore Marin County and the wine country to the North. The neighbors are friendly and approachable. Oftentimes, there are rabbits and deer who will greet you on the road and right outside the front door, who will make one feel like they travelled far from the big city. This apartment is on a dead end cul de sac so there os nearly no traffic whatsoever. O highly recommend this Vrbo rental.
