Sortez du brouillard et au soleil. Profitez du climat doux toute l'année et de l'emplacement central de San Rafael, avec un accès sans effort à San Francisco au sud (trente minutes à travers le célèbre Golden Gate Bridge), le spectaculaire pays viticole de Napa, Sonoma et Alexander Valleys (quarante minutes ) et Berkeley (trente minutes).

Accès facile à San Francisco depuis et en ferry, bus ou voiture. Profitez d'une journée complète dans «The City» et rechargez vos batteries (avec une bonne nuit de sommeil et un bain dans le bain à remous) pour une journée de dégustation de vins dans la Napa Valley.

Notre maison est située dans un quartier calme et haut de gamme. 18 marches mènent à cette belle-unité attenante, qui offre de nombreuses commodités et une intimité unique. Encore 12 étapes pour une piscine semi-privée, un bain à remous et une terrasse, offrant une vue de près de trois cent soixante degrés sur la baie et le mont. Tamalpais. À moins de cinquante mètres se trouve un sentier de randonnée dans une forêt d'eucalyptus, avec une vue sur San Francisco au loin.

Le comté de Marin propose des plages, du golf, de la randonnée et du vélo. (Le vélo de montagne a été «inventé» sur le mont. Tam.) Les paysages locaux incluent des vues à couper le souffle sur le mont Tam et les anciennes forêts de séquoias de Muir Woods, des visites à Sausalito et Tiburon, et bien plus encore. Il propose des restaurants pour tous les budgets et tous les goûts culinaires, ainsi qu'un excellent théâtre, cinéma et shopping.

San Rafael, qui abrite la 2e mission catholique la plus septentrionale et la plus ancienne (fondée en 1817), abrite également un centre civique conçu par Frank Lloyd Wright et un théâtre art déco rénové dans un centre-ville revitalisé.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was clean, had a well equipped kitchen, and comfortable outdoor seating space. There are stairs to the studio apartment and between the outdoor seating area and the pool, so one needs to be able to climb the stairs. We visited Muir Beach and Muir Woods, Point Reyes National Seashore, and Sonoma. One definitely needs a car for the place. Great views!

The place was ideal. It’s a beautiful place and very convenient to get into the city to do sight seeing. We didn’t stay at the property much but we were able to use the hot tub and pool which was great. Highly recommend staying there if you’re looking for a place in the area.

Our family of 15 just spent an amazing week in Tuscany at Borgo Castelrotto. It had everything we needed from plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, an awesome kitchen, beautiful grounds and finally an amazing host, Violante, who helped us with questions, bookings and anything else we needed. It’s also a great location for to explore Tuscany with pretty much everything you’d want to see between 20-90 minutes away. Would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect San Fran stay

We were looking for a place out of the city but with east access - and what a perfect choice! Quiet, up in the hills, with gorgeous views and excellent amenities. Easy drive to downtown but also plenty to do just in the area. Mark was a great host and we loved our short stay!
