We had a terrific time in our rental.The house was large with enough beds and conveniently located. The pool table and sauna was a big hit with our kids. If you have a large group, there is enough space for everyone!

Perfect weekend!

This was the perfect home for our group for our weekend ski trip. Plenty of room, clean and close to many attractions and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was the perfect location - 20 minutes to Jim Thorpe to participate in some Christmas festivities and about 30 minutes to ski resorts to have fun in the snow. Amenities were very close by. The house was super spacious and allowed us to spread out or enjoy fun time as a family enjoying the amenities. Melinda, the owner was super responsive to all questions prior to check in which made our stay super easy.

Perfect for our large group!

This house was perfect for our large group of 3 families. Plenty of room and beds for all. We loved having the pool table and the hot tub for entertainment. The deer stopped by twice a day to check in on us! They are always a joy to watch. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at this house. There was plenty space for our group. 1/2 the group ski’d and enjoyed their time at JFBB. Will recommend to anyone to book, And would stay here again.

Birthday getaway

This was the perfect home for 12 adults for a weekend getaway! Super close to snowboarding and other spots. The house was very clean, tidy, and spacious. There are 3 levels when including the loft so lots of space for everyone!! The homeowner also let us do an early check in which was very nice! I would definitely reccomend this home to anyone :)

Great, well equipped house in a peaceful setting

The house was very clean and spacious. The house is well equipped and it had everything we needed for our week’s stay in the Jim Thorpe region. It is in walking distance to the lake beach area and swimming pool. The location is very quiet and peaceful. The outdoor space is large and welcoming. The deck could use some refinishing but was a functional, spacious area. The location is within a short driving distance to Jim Thorpe. We had a great time and the owner is very responsive!

Great Memorial Weekend, despite the terrible weather

Spacious and comfortable house, with plenty of sleeping arrangements. We had very poor luck with the weather (coldest memorial weekend since 1870 or something like that), so we very much appreciated the Jaccuzi. The kids LOVED the deer that kept roaming the property - our host tipped us off that they like being fed apples, the kids were running in and out in a steady stream for more fruit.

Great Pocono Getaway!

My family and I absolutely loved the property!. It was very clean, well stocked, and everything was functional. The pool table was a hit! We were greeted by deer in front of the house, when we arrived! Not far from decent hiking and the swimming was great. We walked around quite a bit, not far from the lake and swimming. Our host was in touch and answered all our questions. *****

in all the properties that are reserved have their garbage dump and they do the cleaning except that property yourself will throw away the garbage 5 minutes away. practically one does the cleaning work

Close to the JFBB for mountain fun

Enjoyed our stay at this property. We stayed with 12 adults for a long weekend to ski/snowboard. Nice and close to JFBB (15-20 minutes) Large space. The pictures do not show how large the home is. Plenty of rooms and beds. The home comes with minimal kitchen amenities. You will need to bring everything with you including pot holders, can opener, aluminum foil, etc. They did provide pots and pans. We did not have access to any cleaning equipment either (vacuum & broom) which made it hard to stay tidy. The deck is very large and would make a nice area if staying in the summer. Enjoyed our stay.

Dear Tori, I am glad your stay was great and you are looking forward to coming back. According to Homeaway our kitchen is considered fully equipped. I would have appreciated if you would have contacted me during your stay at our property instead of giving us such a bad review because we do actually have a vacuum cleaner and 2 brooms available all the time to guests. Also, we have 2 can openers as well in the kitchen drawer. We do not keep aluminum foils for health issues. Next time when you come back please let me know if you are looking for items that you cant find so I can give you directions.

We enjoyed our stay at Melinda's property in Albrightsville. The house was super clean, very spacious and we enjoyed the deck, the hot tub and pool table. The community amenities were great. We enjoyed the lake and the pool, if we had more time we would have taken even more advantage of the playground, volleyball court and snack bar area. The house was our base for our whitewater rafting weekend, and made for a very enjoyable family reunion and get together.

Nice place, hot tub was a hit.

All good except the grill. Have stayed at other resorts and never had to bring my own propane. It should be the responsibility of the owner to make sure the tank is full or another tank is available if the current one runs out. I ended up filling the tank there at my own expense. Your welcome....

Nice place for Vacation Stay

The property was nice but lawn wasn’t cut. Area was nice and quite. Wished hot tub was working. Overall was good. Just need minor updates. Thank You 🙏

Thank you Yatish for your great review. We recently added a hot tub to the property that requires approvals before having it up and running for our guests. Once ready we will advertise it in our listing. We also added a sitting patio area in the backyard next to the hot tub for more relaxing opportunity. Just for clarification we currently don’t have a grassy lawn as we are on a woodsy property. But we are considering bring in top soil to cover the rocks and make a little grassy area in the backyard. Once we have it we will put in the listing. Thank you for the suggestion! We always try to improve to accommodate all our guests.

We had a group of 4 families. All 12 people had a great time in this relaxing and spacious place. We played pool and enjoyed the sauna almost every day. Melinda was very friendly and helpful and responded to all of our questions in a timely manner and even allowed us to have an early check-in and 25-minute late checkout. Would definitely recommend it to our friends.
