Iâm slow to rate this property because I wasnât sure exactly what to say. The neighborhood was wonderful, but this is not a place Iâm coming back to. The home is in disrepair. One of the windows didnât shut all the way and I had to put a towel in the crack to keep from the freezing cold coming in. One of the beds broke when my 19 year-old 120 pound daughter sat on it. We were able to fix it, but that was the quality of the furniture in the bedrooms. Several sockets did not work and most rooms were missing lightbulbs. Cabinets and furniture in the bedrooms were missing shelves. The chain lock on the front door was broken. There was one point where a pest control man had a key and walked right into the home. We were five women staying on our own. Although he was quite gracious and clearly safe, it was not a very comforting idea to know other people were permitted to come in while we were staying there. For families that are visiting and donât know the area well, I would be aware of that although this property is near the bus stop you have to be there at a certain time and getting back from the city at night is not easy. We were a family of five and ended up spending close to 1000 in Uber/rideshare. Next time we will be staying in the city.
