OceanEdge Bonaire - Oceanfront Condo with Incredible View

Our almost 100% (yes, not QUITE) wonderful guests are made fully aware of our 10am check-out time well in advance. Our check-out time is shown on our listing, in our rental agreement which must be agreed to before booking, and in a thorough information package sent out to each guest two weeks in advance of their stay. If a later check-out is possible, it is ALWAYS given, because checkout time is based on the arrival time of the next guest. However this time of year, it is rarely a possibility for a late check out because guests depart and arrive the same day. The people who were in the unit before this guest arrived had a 10am checkout so THESE people could get in as soon as they arrived on the island. That is how it works. This was no surprise to this guest because he stayed with us same time last year and had a 10am check-out time then as well....and he gave us a 5 star review last year. Also, interested guests (who can sense my frustration) should know that we make accommodations for guests who must check out at 10am but are departing in the afternoon by giving them access to 1) a secure storeroom where they can stow their luggage 2) showers 3) a restroom for changing clothes and all other restroom stuff (and all of those places are in the same little building) while they have 4) full access to our property and pool and oceanfront while they wait for their flight. Is there more we can do? As for internet, I was one floor above this guest the entire time he was here and, as happens on an island, maybe once or twice during his week here the internet stumbled for a 1/2 hour or so (at most!). This guest never mentioned a problem with the internet. Internet connection problems are no more frequent than that once or twice a week for a few minutes thing unless there is a user error (trying to connect to wrong network because did not read instructions in information package?) A 4 out of 5 review is a huge disappointment for the effort and care put in to every reservation and every guest's visit with us AND for the quality of the unit that is presented when a guest arrives. Our goal is 5, and no less.

And we loved having you! We are so disappointed we didn't earn that 5th star in your review. We do our best to accommodate any special requests from our guests. But if a guest never mentions either before or during their stay that they have a request - for example putting the two twin beds in the second bedroom suite together - then we do not have a chance to create a perfect visit, which is our goal for every guest. Always express your wishes and we will do our best!
