It's just 11 miles from Forsyth, 15-25 minutes from downtown, and 30 minutes from Tybee Island. Its close proximity to Wormsloe, a nationally acclaimed historic site known for its scenic lush live oak-lined drive, local fishing piers, and Skidaway Island State Park make it ideal for exploring life in the perspective of a local on Savannah's south end.

---->The downfalls: I believe in full transparency and honesty, so here's the scoop: the neighborhood is not HOA cookie-cutter picturesque, and some surrounding homes are rundown and unmaintained. This neighborhood is definitely not perfect. In fact, I'd consider it to be a working class area.

---->The upsides: It's a genuinely safe and welcoming area despite its perceived unmaintained appearance. I strive to maintain this home to the highest standard, so it is my aspiration that your enclave will be appreciated as a diamond in the rough.

Safety:
---->I wouldn't open my home as a short-term vacation rental if I didn't wholeheartedly believe in the safety of its surroundings. Having personally resided in the area for over a year, I can attest that it's one of the most welcoming places I've had the pleasure of calling home. Your well-being and sense of security are paramount to me.

The Functionality:

Its enchanting 1,200 sqft space is effectively proportioned to comfortably host eight guests. All bedrooms are positioned furthest from the duplex's central dividing wall, enhancing your sense of privacy and seclusion.
Your half-acre backyard is ideal for naturalistic connection, or a safe haven for pets to freely roam.
----->You'll enjoy full access to Unit B of the duplex. Its yard space and patio is shared with occupants of Unit A.
----->Long length of stays are welcomed and encouraged! A rental agreement will need to be signed for stays over 30 days.

---->Note: the duplex's adjacent unit, Unit A, may be occupied by the property owner or other short term rental guests during your stay. Your unit is completely private and separate; the only shared space is the yard access. All I ask is that you maintain a respectful noise level for your friendly neighbors.

Perfect for our short stay

A great little duplex off the beaten path, but still close to the major thoroughfares to take you all over Savannah! The house is clean and cute, and it suited our needs perfectly. We appreciated the clean and affordable option for a short stay!

Home away from home Great Value

This was the perfect place for me and my spouse along with our 2 cats. Plenty of room. 2 desks for working made it convenient . Plenty of bedding, towels, tvs and soaps. Was a home away from home.

Sleep good!

Unbelievably great mattresses! Great Host! Nice decor and seating. When sleeping in the master suite you could not hear anything in the other rooms.... ah sweet dreams!
