Make yourself at home in this delightful 3 bed 2 full bath Henry Ford era home. With a king bed, queen bed and an additional full bed; this cozy house offers a pleasant stay for guests. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like a washing machine, dryer, hair dryer and full kitchen. The house offers a large screened porch on the back of the house that overlooks a huge fenced in backyard. There is a brand new concrete driveway and a carport to park under. The house is always super clean and maintained to ensure everything is in working order and your stay is smooth and comfortable. This historic home has original heartpine floors just as Henry Ford put them in years ago when he settled this storybook town.

The history of this home is beautiful. Such a convenient location. The kitchen was well equipped. We were disappointed that there was no ice, and took a long time for ice maker to work. The dining room table is very high. The screened in porch was lovely.

Cooper Lantern was cozy, clean and perfectly located to access the interstate and get to Savannah to enjoy the many sites there. our guys were there also to enjoy a golf tournament held in Richmond Hills .We would recommend the Cooper lantern !

Great place!

This is our second time staying here! Upgrades have been made since the last time, making it much more functional. Definitely a great place to stay. We love this place and would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and comfortable

This property was great. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, but close to the essentials. The property itself was clean, stocked, well-lit, easy to find, and overall a great place to stay. Our kids loved the rooms with the TVs and the big master shower. We had a very nice stay here.

Wonderful

The house and location are perfect for a quick jaunt into Savannah. We are from all over the country. This accommodated 5 adults with room to spare. Beautiful home, hope to return someday.

Short trip to Richmond Hill/Tybee Island/Savannah

The property was exactly as described and pictured. The check-in process was easy. The location is quiet and convenient. It is only a short drive to Savannah and Tybee Island. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed. The queen bed was very comfortable.

Junior Olympics

Convenient location about 30 minutes outside Savannah and an hour outside Hilton Head. A Kroger and several food options within 5 minutes. House is located on a private lot in a small, quiet neighborhood. Fenced in backyard is great for kids. All the essentials were provided, only suggestion would be a mop/Swiffer in the event of spills. The washer and dryer, and provided supplies, were really beneficial. The 3rd room/bed isn’t a true room as it is an open space off the kitchen with a door to the patio/carport. I’d be comfortable letting older kids sleep out there, but having young kids with immediate access to an exterior door left the room unusable as a “bedroom”. But it served as a good daytime family spot for meals and movies. As others have mentioned, the house is older. But you can tell some effort went into updating it. The main bathroom is large and updated with a big shower. The 2nd bath has a tub. Only suggestion there would be an available step stool for our shorter kiddos. Having to pick my kid up each time he needed to wash his hands got tedious. Overall, our stay was great and we’d stay again if in the area.
