Welcome to our beautifully remodeled West Beach cabin. We are located right on the beach where you can enjoy the Olympic mountain range, endless miles of beach and ocean water views. As you enter our home a wall of floor to ceiling windows will greet you. Unveiling a stunning view of the strait of Juan de Fuca, and the beach is literally outside the front door. Our home was built with only one theme in mind
the view. The window canvas allows you to take in all the sites and the natural beauty of the wildlife visiting the beach or swimming in the ocean. The bald eagles, cranes, and seals will greet you throughout the day, but they are especially playful in the morning. Wake up to the sound of the waves, and the water hitting the rocks. Relax on the front porch with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine as you listen to the ocean glide across the beach. Depending the time you visit, you will be visited by a beautiful sandy beach you can walk miles on.

We just finished our gorgeous remodel and are ready to share it with you! The kitchen has brand new appliances (refrigerator, microwave, and stove). The 2 bedrooms and large bathroom boosts new beautiful LVP. We gutted the bathroom, reconfigured the set up and created a luxury spa. There is a beautiful double vanity with lighted mirrors, large luxury tiled shower. Modern white toilet, tankless water heater, and brand new washer/dryer unit.
We have you covered with all the basic needs to enjoy your stay.

We also have a 50” smart TV, WIFI access, PlayStation 4, and fun board games for family night.

If you forgot anything, don’t worry! The local grocery store and restaurants are located a few miles away in Oak Harbor. Beautiful Deception Pass is less than 10 minutes away - a site worth visiting. Throughout the island are fun towns, each with their own personality, cuisine and shops. You will also find miles of trails and stunning views. All of Whidbey Island provides many ways to find new adventures!

Come and visit our beautiful Orca Sunset Beach House and take time to relax and enjoy the ocean (right outside)!

We have keypads on both doors to allow easy access when arriving. We will provide your access code 24 hours prior to arrival and again the day of check in.

Cozy and impressive location right on the beach. We enjoyed watching the sunsets, bald eagles, and even caught a glimpse of a harbor seal swimming past the shoreline. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils. Everything we needed for our family vacation. And, the location is just a short walk to the state park! Five Stars.

Recently renovated cottage, right on the water front. Close to both Oak Harbor and Coupeville. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking and baking.

View from deck and inside is stunning

We love that you could be out on the deck and the water is 5 feet away at high tide. When it got chilly, we could get the same view from inside through the wall of windows. The sliding barn doors on both sides of the Jack and Jill bathroom were not wide enough to provide coverage of the open doorway, so they did not provide enough privacy when our friends were in the bathroom. That needs to be changed.

Do not miss this property

We loved this cozy beach house. As you stand at the kitchen island, you feel like you are at the beach's edge. We saw three orcas in the bay on our first night! And the sunset is presented just for you!The only drawback is the bathroom privacy. It is a jack and jill bath off of each room, but the doors are barn doors on a track. Cute, but standing in the shower, I could see my sleeping son's eyes through the gap. If he were to open his eyes, he would have opened them, his eyes would have started bleeding! No sound privacy at night either. That said, we loved it here.

Perfect Oasis

We had the perfect weekend getaway! Maria thought of everything when it came to having the cottage stocked. Everything was clean, check in was easy, and the view speaks for itself. We saw two eagles, seals, and found tons of other sea life during low tide. You’re only a 10 minute drive away (or DoorDash if that’s your thing) from restaurants. We were informed that the propane had run out for the last guest and Maria promptly accommodated us to get it taken care of. 1000/10 stay. We will be back!

Beautiful home

Our stay was great. There were 2 bald eagles that flew by on a regular basis. A seal that would play in the water near the home. Even a bunny that would greet us when we got in the car. The home is perfect for sitting on the deck, watching the ocean, and resetting your soul!

Zen View

The mesmorizing view on a clear day gives a 180 view of the Olympic Penninsula, Vancouver Island, and Anacortes as well as the ocean traffic. On a foggy morning, grab your book, some music and a cup of coffee and enjoy the solitude. Monitor the tides for an opportunity to walk the sandy beach and explore the driftwood and ocean tumbled rocks. Gorgeous!

Very Nice Getaway

The view was amazing, and it was very easy to check in & out. I’m giving a lower rating for cleanliness because the sheets had stains/holes/sand, and the cabinets were sticky. Marking lower overall because the kitchen was missing some basics for cooking (e.g., a cutting board). Overall it was a nice getaway though, thank you for sharing your home.

Mesmerizing Views

This home is built to drink in the view. The water comes up right to the edge of the property. You can walk the beach when the tide is out. The queen bed was very comfortable and that is always highly valued. We were disappointed that the couch was not very comfy, bottom cushions keep slipping forward on you. It would be nice to have an ottoman so you could sit back, put your feet up and enjoy the view. It’s important to note the stove/oven combo is not full size, which is fine if you are not planning on doing a lot of cooking. It was appropriate for the size of the house. We played a lot of games at the kitchen table that also has an amazing view. We wish the kitchen chairs were more comfy also and that the table,although adorable, was more sturdy. But I have to say, we had a great time and that view was worth it all. The host always gave a quick response also.

Born and raised in Washington we have always loved the PNW. We met and married very young at 19 and 20, it has been 44 years and life has been wonderful. We have been blessed with terrific kids, grandkids and great grand babies too! 30 years with the Navy took my husband, myself, and our four kids all over the world! We have always loved being near the water and wanted to share our cabin and that outstanding view with others, West Beach is a truly special place. It brings us joy and awe looking out onto that incredible view!! We hope it does the same for you.
