Discover the perfect seaside retreat with our charming beach cottage steps away from the tranquil ocean waves on site 1180! Located in a peaceful corner (south end) of Ocean Lakes, this cozy ground-level retreat offers the ideal escape for relaxing and rejuvenating.

Hanks Haven provides easy access to private beach entrances with a 2-minute walk and an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after a fun day at the beach. Relax in the evenings in the outdoor lighted cabana, complete with seating and grills for BBQs, making it an ideal destination for family and friends looking to enjoy quality time together. The 2-bedroom home offers a comfortable queen bed in the main bedroom, bunk beds (twin) in the second bedroom, and a queen-sized sleeper sofa for extra guests. In addition, a golf cart is included for your convenience and enjoyment as you explore Ocean Lakes and all their amenities.

BEST STAY EVER!!!

Absolutely perfect spring break getaway! We stayed at Hank’s Haven, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The cottage was sparkling clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The golf cart was such a fun and convenient bonus — we zipped to the beach, playground, and nearby spots in no time. The location truly can’t be beat!Dee Dee was a phenomenal host. Her communication was clear, friendly, and helpful every step of the way. She really made us feel welcome and cared for. This is the perfect place for families with kids — safe, convenient, and full of charm. We can’t wait to come back!

Great little house!

Super cute house close to the beach! Golf cart was great for the park but it’s an easy walk to the beach. Loved our stay here and Dee Dee was fantastic! Highly recommend ❀

Hanks Haven was Heavenly!

We would absolutely recommend staying at Hanks Haven! It was the perfect home for our family of four. Its location was amazing. We loved being within walking distance from the beach but having the golf cart to ride to the pool, ceramics, tye dyeing, or to visit friends. We also loved having the washer and dryer. It allowed us to travel home with little to worry about. Communication with Dee Dee was great, and we would not hesitate to stay again!

Best Experience We’ve Ever Had!!

You WILL NOT regret booking with Dee Dee! She was absolutely amazing! She was very easy to contact if we had any questions and she was very quick to respond. She made my family feel like family instead of guests! The house was adorable and the perfect fit for our family of 6! The easiest booking we have ever had to deal with! I can’t say enough good things about this place. If you want to enjoy a stress free booking experience you definitely need to book with Dee Dee. Best decision we could have made for our family vacation this year!

The beach has always been our "Happy Place." So when we got the opportunity to own a home at the beach, that was only steps from the ocean, we could not resist. My husband and I are recently retired and enjoy traveling. Our beach home is a getaway and a place to host our family for our yearly vacations. We know how precious time is with family, and we want to share our home with families who want to make memories that will be cherished forever.

We bought this house in December of 2023, so we have yet to have the opportunity to share it with anyone except family. We are currently booking up fast, so we anticipate we will soon have reviews to help you decide to let us host you and your family. We have visited Ocean Lakes Campground several times over the years and fell in love with it right from the start! With all the amenities and activities for kids as well as adults, it makes it the perfect location for family vacations. Ocean Lakes is a community within itself. We enjoy riding around on the golf cart and "exploring" while making new friends. The ideal place for relaxation and fun!

At Hanks Haven, we start our mornings on the front porch, sipping our coffee while listening to the ocean waves. Then, after a long day at the beach and exploring the campground, we enjoy "chillin' and grilling" at our lighted outdoor cabana. The perfect combination for an ideal vacation!
