Hocking Hills Cabin, 2 acres of wooded forest, 10 min away from Old Man’s Cave

Our love for nature led us to purchase a beautiful house, surrounded by 2 acres of forest. The house is located only 10 minutes away from Old Man’s Cave.

We hope our guests appreciate all the work and love that we have put into renovating our house into a modern masterpiece. Enjoy a night in sitting around the fireplace or roast marshmallows around the outdoor fire pit. There is a spacious kitchen fit for a chef. There is a large grilling station on the deck. The house includes a spacious master shower with a towel warmer, heated toilet seat and bidet.
The house can accommodate up to 7 people with 3 bedroom (2 queen beds, 1 double bed, and a pull out trundle twin bed). Two of the bedroom even have a macrame swing chairs for guest to enjoy.
We hope you enjoy our getaway place as much we have!

The house was very beautiful on the inside and out. Everything in the house looked great and worked well. The hot tub was also a great extra feature. We had a great stay and are hoping to go again next year!

Great for a short stay

This place was great for a short stay with plans to hike during the trip. Location was close to all the main trails. Communication with hosts was great! We enjoyed the fire pit and quiet location. Place was a little hard to find at first due to maps not working and the house number not being visible from the road.

Great for girls weekend

This cabin was perfect for our girls weekend. We wanted a place where we could just relax, hang out, and play games. The house was super cute and updated and slept five adults comfortably. Would definitely stay here again!

The photos shared for this house are VERY outdated! The outside furniture is disgusting, the front chairs & table have some pink residue all over them. The chairs around the fire pit I had to clean to sit on. There was bird poop, grass clippings, and spider webs all over all of it. The hot tub, we opened it and there was dirt and residue all over every edge & crevice. I contacted the owner and they sent their cleaner over. She did nothing but turn the hot tub on and say that you can smell the chemicals. Smelling chemicals doesn't mean it's clean. We also had to wipe that down to use. The trash bin was so full we couldn't fit another bag inside of it and it smelled thee entire outside of the property up. Couldn't enjoy the amenities this property had to offer. The inside of the house, every corners had dirt and gunk. The master bathroom shower doesn't drain properly. You have to pause your shower, get out let it drain a bit so you're not standing in your filth or it over flows, then turn it back on and get in. The towel warmer in the master bathroom doesn't work. The musty smell in the bedroom with the pull out bed was overwhelming.

Highly recommend this lovely home! Cute and peaceful! It was clean, and well stocked. Excellent communication from the rental staff - very clear and easy check in and check out information.

Quick trip away, to kick off the Summer

Fantastic place to get away from home and enjoy the country! My family and I absolutely loved the peace and quiet! The kitchen and bathrooms are fantastic and all the amenities you need are supplied! The little extras, like the s'mores ingredients, the host supplied were perfect! It's getting really hard to find a nice place to stay, in the Hocking Hills area, that is big enough for a family of 5, that doesn't cost an unreasonable amount of money! Thanks to the hosts for offering a very nice place, that is affordable!!

I never do this, if I stay somewhere and it doesn’t turn out well I just don’t leave a review. I feel I should this time for others. The main issue with this house is that it has a mold/mildew problem. It was so bad I could hardly stand it and stayed outdoors as much as possible. Could not visibly find the mold so I’m assuming it’s in the walls or ductwork. I’ve been at musty places before but this was terrible. I feel the need to inform people because this could be a big problem for someone with allergies. Not one person mentioned this in reviews here but the guest book at the house had some unhappy comments about it. Next a man came as we pulled up to tend to the hot tub and said give it a few hours to warm up. So we waited and checked the water. Turns out the temp was set to 82 so it took until 10:30 that night for it to warm up. Had a couple very disappointed pre teens that night. The general appearance of the house is not reflected in the pictures. The inside was ok but the outside is in need of attention. I’m sure the owners are lovely but this needed to be said as I would have passed on the property if I had known
