Modern Ranch House-swim, soak, pickleball & walk to wineries

This idyllic countryside home is situated in the historic neighborhood of Sonoma Valley called Schellville and within the Carneros wine region.

You’re within minutes to world class vineyards and after a day of wine tasting -play pickle ball on our private court followed by a dip in the pool, or a soak in the hot tub. Cook on our luxe outdoor grill, and dine al fresco on our back patio.

The pool is heated by request ONLY between Nov- Apr. There is a $100 per day fee to heat the pool during this time. There is no charge to heat the pool May-Oct.

We require a signed rental agreement prior to check-in.

We had 3 couples (all family) staying and the 3bdr/3bath was perfect for spreading out and staying close. We didn't use the hot tub or pool but both were very clean, and private. We did use the pickleball court that is basically surrounded by wine grapes and had hot air balloons fly over. We used the gathering spaces and conveniently large dining table as well as the well equipped kitchen and grill. We really enjoyed our stay so very much!

This was the best experience through VRBO! The house was beautiful, super clean and exactly how it looked on the site. The hosts were quick to communicate and made the entire experience flawless! Great location, easy to get to grocery stores and restaurants. I will definitely bring my family here, again.

This property was in an ideal location. Just 4 miles from 3 great wineries, Cline, Jacuzzi and Viansa. In walking distance you could enjoy Roche and Robledo. The home was clean and had a great outdoor space for relaxing. The pickle ball court was such a nice amenity for our group. The house manager was very responsive when we had any concerns about the house or pool. Prior to our stay we were given some information about local tours. We chose to do Platypus tours on one of the days. It was rather pricey, but well worth the cost of having a driver take us to wineries further away. The group could enjoy drinking with no worries. Highly recommend the house for your stay and the tour.

Fantastic hidden gem!

Absolute FANTASTIC stay at Larry & Jo’s. We enjoyed the pickleball court, the proximity to wineries, the comfortable bedding, and the hot tub. It was perfect for the wedding we attended nearby in Sonoma!

50th Birthday Getaway

Five college roommates gathered for a weekend of wine tasting and relaxing in Sonoma. The house was very clean, extremely spacious and just as advertised in photos (maybe felt even larger in person). I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, and would highly recommend the property to others. Grounds were very well maintained, host was very responsive and helpful. You won’t regret booking this property!

The hosts were communicative and friendly, and the home is bright, airy, and a great environment to enjoy wine country. It was raining all weekend and in different weather we would have really enjoyed the backyard.

Perfect Wine Country

He stayed at this property while going on wine tours around Napa and Sonoma. This property was perfect for a country quite feel yet very convenient to travel to and from Napa valley and surrounding community's. The house was in immaculate condition and was absolutely perfect to relax and enjoy the beautiful country side while swimming and unwinding in the hotub

Beautiful home!

7 moms & daughters stayed for a bachelorette weekend. We wanted quiet & relaxing, & that’s what we got! The weather didn’t allow us to use the pool or hot tub, but they look amazing. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the beds, etc were perfect. The Murphy bed was a challenge, but we got it to work. Definitely recommend this property!

Great Stay, Great House!

We loved this house for our girls trip! Very spacious, clean, and modern. Loved the backyard patio and beautiful sunrises. After a day visiting wineries, we looked forward to just coming back to this house and relaxing. Owners were very available and helpful with communication.

Great location, fantastic property.

We stayed here for four nights in May 2024 before moving onto Southlake Tahoe. The location of the property is perfect. Close to Napa and Sonoma. The accommodations were spot on. Everything was clean. House was not cluttered. It was very orderly. Definitely would stay again

One of the best properties I’ve ever stayed at!!

Came to Sonoma with a small group of girlfriends and this house was PERFECT. The backyard is immaculate and has everything you could need- pool, hot tub, pickleball, tanning chairs. We made breakfast each morning and had everything we needed. We flew all the way to Sonoma and cancelled dinner one night just so we could spend more time at the house. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Bachelorette Weekend

Had a beautiful girls weekend in Sonoma! We enjoyed the 4th of July fireworks from the comfy couch in the backyard on Thursday. Hit the wineries on Friday and then spent the evening at the VRBO with frozen pizza’s and painting. Saturday we hit the Napa farmers market, did some shopping and then hung out at the beautiful pool all day with a few bottles we picked up from our wine tours! Overall an incredible stay!

Perfect location and beautiful home

This house is a perfect setting for a group. The kitchen is well stocked, the dinner table seated everyone comfortably, ample couch and seating areas with TVs, the outdoor couch seating area with fire pit, etc. It was exactly as pictured! The beds were incredibly comfy and the rooms were also well stocked and super clean. The hot tub was ready to go upon arrival and was the perfect way to relax in the afternoons. The location is also great - only about a 10m drive to Whole Foods and downtown Sonoma square. Will definitely look to return!

Nice Place but needs to improve listing information.

House is very nice, but pool is not heated and unless the weather is 90 degrees or hotter the pool has limited use. Communication with property manager was below expectations as they never took care of the five wasp's nest in the pool area, despite telling us they would have someone out the next morning and never updated us any further. Also it is in an agricultural area, so expect tractors and spraying at early morning and late night hours.

Amazing Listing, Superior Location

This is a listing that is truly as advertised; might even be better than it comes across on the listing.Location - Doesn't really get better than this. You're on a quiet road - you get a feeling of seclusion - yet you're just minutes from the square. There are wineries literally within walking distance right down the street from the house. The Space - Big, very well laid out house. We had 6 adults and 2 infants, and the layout of the house is perfect for anyone needing a situation with separation between the rooms and common spaces. The rooms are on one end of the house and common spaces on another - so in terms of kids sleeping and not being woken up, this place is perfect. There's also 3 full bathrooms, which is hard to find. There is extra refrigeration, and a washer and dryer.This house was clearly fully renovated in the last few years. There are 2 living rooms to hang out in, a big kitchen with tons of space, and the outdoor space is just phenomenal. Huge backyard with vineyard views. Pool, hot tub, seating areas, pickleball court - tons of space. Can see this being an even better location in the warmer months because of the outdoor options here. Communication with property management was excellent. Highly recommend a stay here.

Weekend Getaway

We had an amazing time in Sonoma made even better by our stay here. Everything was great and exactly as expected and promised. The home was beautiful and clean with more then enough room for our party of 6. We would 100% stay here again if given the chance.
