This property is a four bedrooms one and a half bath very spacious this home has a big dining room table to entertain at least eight people, nice outdoor space for grilling and relaxing. It is also very private. it is very close to the downtown and UAB and the Civic Center No parties are allowed penalty $5000. No inside smoking penalty $500 .this home have just about all the amenities that you will need. It is an older neighborhood, but very nice. The neighbors are very friendly. It is just very comfortable for relaxing with family and friends. This home. It is not for hosting big event or any type of event. It is a home no parties. Don’t block neighs driveway. Respect your neighs. Neighs are very friendly. This is a nice getaway home away from your home. Be blessed. Stay blessed.

Did not feel safe in surroundings we left

While the interior of the home was mainly updated and kept clean the exterior burglar bars and the racial sign across the street was enough that we did not stay. We forfeited our trip and apparently we lost our money as no one has acknowledged the request for portion refunded. Being a host myself I would very nicely ask neighbors not to put signs like that in their yard

Everything we needed!

Needed a clean place to stay for college graduation and it was perfect for our needs. Had a few things that needed immediate attention, but Judith sent someone out immediately. It is located in an older neighborhood, which is rough around the edges.However, we felt safe and did not have any problems. We are veteran VRBO users and researched the property thoroughly & read the reviews. The only con is that the property is described & filtered as a 2-bath house but really is a bath & a half. There is no shower or tub in the second bathroom. Update the description. Don't expect perfect. It's not that. Very comfortable. New washer & dryer. The refrigerator needs to be updated, but it was fine for our needs.few thinngs that needed immefiate

It was fine.

It did what we needed it to do. The biggest issue was the correct address needed to be added to the listing. The neighbors were friendly, and I know people have talked about the area, and it's not the best, but we did not feel unsafe or anything. The owner checks in regularly, which is cool. If you need a home base while you enjoy Birmingham, this place will do just fine.

Unpleasant Experience - Not as Advertised - Would Not Recommend

I recently stayed at a Vrbo property that was advertised as a "quiet old neighborhood, very charming, perfect stay." Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant and did not match the description at all. 1. The house across the street was boarded up, which created an unwelcoming and unsafe atmosphere. The neighborhood was neither quiet nor charming, as described. 2. It did not resemble a quaint, old neighborhood in any way. 3. The location and neighborhood were not ideal for a relaxing stay. I felt misled by the listing. 4. The cost of the rental was high, especially considering the poor quality of the surroundings. Due to these issues, I ended up paying separately and staying at a hotel instead. Overall, I was very disappointed with my Vrbo experience and would not recommend this property to others.

Very comfortable living area and beds. AC was spot on and needed, of course. Not the best neighborhood, but always felt safe.

This is an older home in a quiet neighborhood.

The listing is deceptive because it shows up in the 2 bath filter, it also list the 2nd bath as 1 and half bath (which makes you think it is a Jack and Jill bathroom) but this is a one bathroom with a half bath in one of the bedrooms. The home is older but cozy. The neighborhood is quite but I was uneasy with some of the activity on the street. I might stay here again but not for the price I paid to rent this home
