Notre beau condo de deux chambres, deux salles de bain, a une vue sur l'océan et la montagne depuis les vues Lanai et Haleakala Mountain depuis les chambres. Master a un lit king-size avec salle de bain privée, deuxiÚme chambre deux lits jumeaux avec baignoire. Le condo a une cuisine entiÚrement équipée avec laveuse / sécheuse et une TV / DVD, stéréo / lecteur CD et WiFi sans fil gratuit. Cuisine salle familiale tous 1 grand espace pour se détendre et grand Lanai pour s'asseoir pour les repas, prendre le soleil, lire ou jouer aux échecs.
La grande véranda / balcon surplombe l'océan, et la piscine / courts de tennis idéal pour se détendre, manger, lire et profiter du soleil. Les jardins sont magnifiquement aménagés avec des palmiers et des fleurs hawaïennes. Apportez simplement votre valise et tout le reste est fourni pour votre plaisir!

Beautiful Sunsets

We really enjoyed our stay. Clean and well stocked. The pool is wonderful and steps away from the beach. No noise and no roosters at 5am! The beds are comfortable and we even slept on the Lanai one night. You'll love it.

Retirement trip

My wife just retired and this was the trip to celebrate. We stayed for 2 weeks and couldn't have made a better choice. The condo is amazing and the location is even better. You can watch the sunset every night and the location makes it easy to go anywhere on the island from Lahaina to Hana.

Excellent location

We had a wonderful time here as the location cannot be beat. The resort grounds are pristine and amenities are very well looked after. The pool and hot tub were spotless and a joy to use and the beach was about 250 steps away from the building. Our lanai had the best view you could ask for, both for watching sunsets with a glass of wine in hand and the waves rolling in. Beds were comfortable and all the necessary kitchen equipment for cooking with. The four stars regarding cleanliness could probably be solved easily by the cleaning staff being a bit more through but not a big issue to our stay at the condo. We would be happy to visit again in the future and would recommend this place.

Owner charged us $750 for cleaning

If you want to rent from an honest person, we would advise you to look elsewhere. We stayed here for six nights and took care to follow all of the owner’s instructions (including leaving shoes outside). But the cleaner found some sand in the couch (this is a beachfront property and kids do get sand in their waistbands, for example). The owner announced that because “cleaning took longer than usual” she was charging us the full damage deposit. So in addition to the already huge cleaning fee we paid on booking, she stole an additional 2x from us (sorry, VRBO won’t let us include. The actual amounts here). Either her cleaning person is earning $400k/year, or this owner is treating damage deposits as a profit center. This is blatant theft.

Great for families!

This condo has a nice view of the pool and ocean. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals. The space was plenty for our family of 4 (2 small children). Beds and linens were comfortable. A good amount of sand toys, snorkel gear, pool noodles, and beach chairs were available. We rented a pack n play through a company on the island. I recommend renting an umbrella too if you plan to spend time exploring the beaches. The building itself has nice amenities—a good pool and hot tub. The condo has a nice location close to the elevator but not noisy. More than enough great restaurants within 5 and 10 min drives. Communication was very easy. Thanks!

Overall very happy with some minor issues

Let me start by saying the overall experience was very good and I would recommend this place. First the good - Location is amazing. Beach right there and very walkable to downtown Kihei. - Great view - Lots to do in and around the complex - Communication with Sherry was great The minor issues - WiFi in the condo was really bad. I could only get a signal if I was in the main room. Anywhere else the signal was non-existent so no WiFi and cell coverage (AT&T for me) was weak in that area so internet was an issue. Sherry was aware of this issue and looks like she plans to get it fixed. - Cleanliness. While the place was clean overall there were some spot issues. The floors both in the condo and out on the patio were extremely dirty, likely had not been cleaned in a long time. I found a mop and cleaned the floors, we stayed for a month and didn't require a second cleaning so seeing how dirty they were when I arrived I have to assume it has been a long time since the floor was mopped. A couple of other minor cleanliness issues, none of which were show stoppers, just annoying given the $$ of the rental I would expect a bit more.

Great location in Kihei

We had a amazing visit to Maui and the Maui Sunset is a great location in Kihei. My family loved the pool and playing shuffle board & pickle ball, and seeing the turtles on the beach at sunset. The kitchen in our condo was well stocked, and had lots of beach extras (chairs, cooler, boogey boards, etc). However the beds were uncomfortable, the unit wasn't super clean (especially windowsills!) and the wall mounted air conditioners are so loud, and auto shut off every 4 hours so you wake in the night hot and have to restart them. Unfortunately due to the way the condo is laid out there is not way for the trade winds to reach bedrooms so you have to use the noisy air conditioners during hot weather.

As a whole the accommodations met expectations. If anyone was depending on quality wifi, then this may not be the condo for you.

Great stay

The condo is well equipped and the grounds are beautiful with a lot of free activities provided. The band on Wednesday was exceptional and also free. Our family had a great time exploring Maui and just being together to relax and rejuvenate. Sherri was in touch to give arrival details. Everything went without a hitch. This is a great space to land!

Mom and daughters

The location, the property, the amenities were wonderful. We completely enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of parking, the view was terrific. We saw turtles in the water while we were there. If you go to Maui in January/February, the whale watching tours are a must. We also enjoyed driving the road to Hana, driving to the top of Haleakala, and the Hawaiian pineapples and shaved ice! The AC was supplied via window units that are on timers in order to be energy conscious. This was alarming at first, but we were able to work it out for us. The unit had plenty of kitchenware. We utilized the gas grills, which helped us out with our meal preparation. On the last day, we spent time by the pool which we enjoyed as well.

Maui Sunset

We had a terrific stay! The view is wonderful and located close to many different activities. An unexpected surprise was that not only do you have a beautiful view of the beach, but the patio also overlooks greenspace between the two buildings. It was a delight to hear familes playing at the pool, and shuffleboard and lawn bowling with glow in the dark balls. So much happy laughter when you sit on the deck! I think with all the isolation with Covid, this was a sweet gift, on top of all the other wonderful things to enjoy on Maui. Management was very responsive and check-in easy! Pillows very comfy!

Perfect Maui vacation spot

Spacious, updated and very comfortable condo with gorgeous ocean and sunset views, in a complex with beautiful, meticulously maintained grounds & pool. Owner was very attentive and responsive ahead of and during stay, checking in to ensure all was good. Easy process for after-hours check-in and check-out. Onsite activities manager a nice bonus resource

Fun trip

We loved the location and the views from this property. They cannot be beat. Property has great supplies for beach use. Very central to driving all over island for day trips. Would have been nice to have access to more cleaning supplies, as we stayed for 12 days and wanted to clean more frequently bc of sand.

Fantastic Condo and Property with Great Ocean Views!

Our family greatly enjoyed staying here, which served as a perfect base-camp for all of our Maui activities. We enjoyed the large open living and dining room and large lanai overlooking the large green lawn and ocean. Sunsets were amazing and we also enjoyed the proximity to Kihei and the fun family restaurants.

Just what we needed

Location was perfect for exploring the island and for enjoying the ocean. We enjoyed the pool and watching the sunsets. It’s a large complex but wasn’t didn’t feel crowded. We had everything we needed. We would definitely come back.

Fabulous location, excellent views, lovely accommodations, and immaculate grounds. We had an incredible nine night stay at Maui Sunset, A219 condo. The condo with a fully equipped kitchen and beach accessories was everything we needed for a great stay in Maui. The grounds were more than I expected and the stunning sunsets from the lanai were amazing. The condo was comfortable but as others said the ac units only run for 2 hours at a time, I completely understand why though. I did have a couple housekeeping and maintenance issues (as one would expect) but Sherry was prompt in her replies and genuinely concerned to fix it which I appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend this property.

We bought this condo because we love Maui. Its Paradise for us. This is our family business. Our family has been coming to Maui Sunset for 3 generations now. Our roots are in Illinois but dream of Maui and being there more.

We love Kihei because we always have great weather and our family has been coming to Kihei Maui for over 40 years now.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We love playing tennis and being by the beach and seeing the ocean while playing. Having the pool/hot tub to swim in yet see the ocean is a plus for us too. You can make reservations for activities at the pool which is easy and relaxing. The views from our Lanai are breath taking and our favorite place to spend time while in the condo. Everything has been updated in the unit from All Tile Floors, Corian surrounds in bathrooms and a state of the art kitchen.
