Best view!

This house on the lake has amazing views. From the sunrise to the sunset all the windows and very large deck offer so much beauty to see. Very cozy and inviting with beautiful decor and furnishings. We loved this house and highly recommend it!

The property was wonderful. We, unfortunately, had bad weather but that was no fault of the host of course. We still managed to have a wonderful time. We did have one beautiful day. The only negative I would give is access to the water. The shoreline is not very "nice" I will say. Water shoes are a necessity and it stays shallow and "yucky" for quite a while. I think this could easily be remedied if the shoreline was raked out of its leaves, etc. It is difficult to get into a innertube and get out into the lake area. The lake is beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed it very much once we got out there. But then, once again, the dismount was a scene to behold. ;) But don't let it stop you! The deck view is gorgeous. It feels very secluded even though there are neighbors.

Perfect

The property was exactly like the pictures. Very well decorated and appointed. The deck was an amazing western view of sunset. One item to note for other guests, there are eight steps to navigate from the parking space to the sidewalk leading into the house.

Lake Getaway

Excellent View of Lake, Very Clean, Very Quiet, Home Nicely Decorated, Very Comfy couch and chairs in living area, Great selection of Games to Play, Wonderful Wrap Around Deck with lots of Seating available. The only negatives were: Weren't aware that there are stairs from the parking lot to the home. We wanted to invite a wheelchair bound brother to home and he couldn't come to visit because of these. Except for the Master Suite - the beds were not comfortable at all. Cheap and too mushy - were the comments from those who slept on them. Daughter & Husband slept in basement and said it was damp and no air circulation down there. The lake (on side we stayed) didn't look condusive to swimming.

Hi Craig, We are glad you had a nice stay at the lake and appreciate your feedback. There are indeed a few top steps from the parking area to the entry. We wish we would have known about your need for wheelchair access (this home is not ADA compliant). Had you reached out we would have been happy to reposition the boat trailer (closer to the wall) on the side yard, which is essentially a lawn ramp to the front door. There then wouldn’t be steps from the parking pad until the kitchen entry, which then has a three-inch step up just inside the door by the fridge. We have added a note about those few steps to the listing for future guests. We do have a dehumidifier in the basement, which perhaps was turned off. It is a lakefront lower level however and some dampness will naturally occur, but we will investigate installing additional ventilation. We also plan to replace the twin mattresses for the upper-level guest room later this month. Next summer season, we will install a dock addition that will make swimming/getting in and out of kayaks much easier. The best sandy swimming for our lake is at the narrow point at the edge of the bay, as you enter the larger lake zone. The owner's family swims there every opportunity they have, as it is so refreshing and once you get to that spot it is clear sandy bottom. We truly care about our guests’ experience and strive for five-star reviews. Prior guests have all greatly enjoyed this home. We will take your suggestions into consideration and make improvements.
