Mattress in terrible condition. Sheets were barely on the bed. Rug was nasty. One coffee cup. Paint chipping off ceiling. A/C too loud to sleep as it cut off and on.

The issues you mentioned regarding the mattress, bedding, rug, ceiling paint, and coffee supplies are certainly not the experience we want our guests to have. We also understand how disruptive the A/C cycling and noise must have been, especially when trying to sleep. The Inn and property were fantastic and the staff were friendly. The room itself needs some love. The photos in the listing don't really show an accurate portrayal of the room. The furniture is different, aside from the bed, but in a good way. It looks like they may have updated those items (table/chairs, table under the tv, outdoor furniture). On the down side, the mattress is due to be replaced (there are noticeable divots), the bathroom lights are a little brighter than night lights and no where near as bright as what is shown in the pictures. This is probably a good thing because the vanity and fixtures need a deep clean, the dust buildup by the air handler was quite something. The walls themselves had noticeable dust and splatters, the lamp shades had mystery substances, and the ceilings had large areas of mold. I'm originally from Florida so I understand wear and tear when it comes to beach hotels, mold and rust happens due to the high humidity. All in all, I've stayed in much worse places and you couldn't beat the location. We enjoyed the weekend and hope to go back next year. Overall, this room just needs a thorough deep cleaning, a bit of TLC, and a new mattress.
