This place is great! It’s right on the lake in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Poulomi is very accommodating and responsive. Everything is in this cute cabin to make your stay comfortable. Highly recommended!

Very clean cozy cottage. Beautiful view and quiet neighborhood. We came in October and lots of geese visiting the lake. Friendly neighborhood as well. We went for a walk and several people waved to us. Nice screened in porch for sitting outside. Less than an hour to Niagra falls. Highly recommend and will likely come again in the summer.

Quaint and Cozy Cottage

We came to visit our Aunt for her 75th Bday.This cottage was at a perfect location for all our plans. The sunsets were spectacular. All basic necessities were met at the cottage. Totally recommend it. Just a heads bring some bug spray for outside activities..

Perfect!

I cannot emphasize how gorgeous the view of lake Ontario is from this property! We saw boats, tankers, the lights from Canada at night. You can walk down to the water and sit and watch the sunset and the screened room kept the bugs away at night. This property is about an hour away from Niagara falls and close to Olcott and a grocery store. The property is on a dead end lot and we didn't see any neighbors the entire time we were there. The house is very clean and comfortable.

Cottage on the Lake

We had a wonderful stay at The Blue Lagoon. The sunsets from the backyard were amazing. I would highly recommend this as a great get away on Lake Ontario!! Thanks Again, Scott

Great Lakeshore Getaway

My wife and I enjoyed our stay ant the Blue Lagoon, even though we were there in February during a large snowstorm. It was wonderful and quiet and had a great view directly out over the lake. Because of our own personal mixup, we had to contact the host for some more information. He responded immediately and was incredibly helpful. We’ll be going back!

Quaint cottage on lake front. Nice little screened porch to avoid the mosquitoes at night. Bedrooms tend to be warm as air conditioner is in dining area

Charing Cottage on Lake Ontario

Very nice two-bedroom cottage with a nicely equipped kitchen, full bath, and living spaces both inside and out. The sunset on the lake was very nice and the outdoor grill gave us additional options when cooking dinner. In addition to the deck space, there's an additional screened in & covered room on the back of the house overlooking the lake. Cheers!!

Beautiful cottage on the lake

The property was very inviting. The cottage was clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. The view of the lake was amazing. We saw several east bound freighters. There is a small fire ring as well as a grill available on the deck. There is also a screened portion of the deck which was nice for use in the evenings. TV and WiFi are available as well. The area is quiet and relaxing. There are boulders along the lake retaining wall but my granddaughter and I were able to climb down and swim as the lake was very calm one morning. (I don't think the lake is intended to be accessible, but I'm 67. You only live once. 😊)

Great location

The cabin was in a great location. Got to see several large ships way off in the distance on Lake Ontario. Also got to watch a flock of seagulls flapping their wings as hard as they could and not get anywhere because the wind was blowing so hard. Didn't spend a lot of time outside at the cabin because of the wind and most days it was a little on the cool side to just be sitting outside. Had come to the area to ride my bicycle on the Erie Canal trail, do some hiking and see Niagara Falls. The cottage has plenty of room for one person. Both bedrooms do feel a little cramped. Not sure how they would feel with two people in each room. Some of the pots and pans have seen better days. Did let the host know that the motion detector lights need to stay on longer. Was a bit annoying trying to get coolers and luggage brought in after dark and they wouldn't stay on for long. Also let the host know that there was a draft around the backdoor. Did have to take one star off communication because I had to ask for check-in info twice. Did have a power outage for about 7.5 hours and internet outage for about 12 hours which were totally outside of the host's control. Luckily my remote work schedule is very flexible or the internet outage would have been very annoying. The hosts should change the lock code from the manufacturer's default code to provide a little more security for their guests. Would stay here again if I visit the area again.
