Bienvenue à Romance Ridge! Seulement 5 miles de la Skyline Drive et le parc national de Shenandoah, Romance Ridge est équipée avec tout le nécessaire pour votre escapade. Privée, niché dans le flanc de la montagne avec vue sur le parc national Shenandoah. Doté d'un plan d'étage studio ouvert avec lit king-size, salle de bain complète et cuisine entièrement équipée. Il suffit d'apporter votre sac et gastronomiques ingrédients. Frais, des draps de luxe sont inclus dans votre séjour. Matelas nouvellement nommé Juin 2018. Profitez du bain à remous toute l'année et du foyer au bois d'octobre à mars pendant que vous vous détendez pour la semaine ou le week-end. Accès Internet sans fil et Direct TV inclus. Aussi inclus sont un fer à repasser, sèche-cheveux, barbecue (amener charbon de bois), et à l'extérieur table de pique-nique sur le pont inférieur. S'il vous plaît faites comme chez vous!

Beautiful place and great host. Me and my wife went for the long weekend and we loved the view and being away from the world for a bit. Only thing i did not like (not faulting the host or taking away a star) is there were no blinds or curtains on any windows but the bathroom. I might just be paranoid and other people have no problems with it. Overall great place will be back.

Michael, I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and time away! The cabin is so private, away from the world, that we put blinds above the bed and in the bathroom, so that the outdoors remains a feature throughout the rest of the cabin facing the woods. The privacy of the cabin is what makes it so special, and we would love to have you back to visit again any time! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience!

This cabin was perfect in every way for our New Year's getaway weekend! It's hard to find a place with both a jacuzzi and a wood-burning fireplace, so we were thrilled to find this and, of course, thoroughly enjoyed both. The cabin was spacious, perfectly clean, and had everything we needed. Also, the owner really went out of her way to help us have a wonderful stay, including helping us reconnect with an item we accidentally left behind! I highly recommend this cabin, and i know we will be back again!!

The host was very kind and helpful. The cabin is the perfect setting for a mountain getaway. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace for roasting s’mores and relaxed in the hot tub after strenuous hikes. It was a treat just to stroll along Turkey Ridge. We really could have never left the cabin and called it a perfect autumn trip.

We had the best few days during our stay. We loved this little cabin so much. So clean. So open and bright with a great layout. The kitchen was so well equipped and super functional. The king sized bed was so comfortable! Just a short drive to the park entrance. This is the perfect place to relax, bird watch and enjoy the peace and beauty of the mountains. Our host was a pleasure to work with, and could not have been nicer!

The hottest days so we just enjoyed the peaceful solitude. The cabin was clean and everything there working perfectly. Hot tub was amazing and our dog really enjoyed all the new smells & sounds from the deck!We would go again!

If you're looking for solitude and privacy, this is your cabin. All the comforts of home and then some. Stayed here in early spring, would love to return in winter and summer.

Sweet Cabin in the Woods

Beautiful cabin! Comfortable. Clean. Next door to Shenandoah National Park. Easy drive to Luray Caverns. We also visited American Civil War sites. If we are ever lucky enough to return to beautiful Virginia, we would definitely stay in this cabin again!

Great place to stay if you are visiting Shenandoah NP

The cabin was in a perfect location for our visit to SNP. Everything was as advertised. Very clean, well stocked with everything we needed, host communication was great and the hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking in the park.

Private and peaceful

We enjoyed our stay here. There is a narrow road leading to the cabin but we never encountered another person while driving it. The cabin was beautiful and the host provided ample firewood which was really nice.

We love the outdoors, and have a great appreciation for nature. We love to share the peace, tranquility, and romance of our cabin in the Shenandoah area. We chose to purchase this property, with hopes that we would relocate to the Charlottesville, VA area for its outdoor lifestyle. Our jobs keep us in Pennsylvania, but we enjoy 6-7 trips to Romance Ridge per year to take in the beauty and serenity of the mountains and hike the trails in the Shenandoah National Park.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Romance Ridge is located at the doorstep of the Shenandoah National Park, and is equidistant between University of Virginia in Charlottesville, and James Madison University in Harrisonburg. With two ski resorts close by at Masannutten and Wintergreen, it's not easy to choose! Luray Caverns is an easy day trip. There are numerous, breweries and vineyards in the area, along with antique shoppes, wildlife management areas, and country roads to explore and take in the undeveloped scenery. The Shenandoah Valley is rich with history, from Civil War trails to James Madison's Monticello, James Monroe's Ash Lawn, and James Madison's Montpelier. No matter your destination, we are sure you will enjoy the peace, solitude, and serenity of the cabin itself. Enjoy your stay!
