Great little beach cottage in a quiet neighborhood

We had a great stay in this immaculate cottage, which was a short bike ride to all the shops and restaurants in Vermilion. The hosts were super communicative and accommodating. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful time at this cozy home. We enjoyed the neighborhood and took an evening walk down to the water front park. We only wish we would have stayed longer and plan to stay there again!

I really liked the little cottage. It was clean, and the neighborhood was nice. It had all the amenities we needed and I would definitely recommend it to others. We also found a nice little private beach down the road that we absolutely loved.

Two day getaway

Great little cottage for our getaway. Close to the cute downtown Vermilion area and right across from the lake. All the details were thought out just right, you will have everything you need for a stay. Clean and cozy.

Beautiful Cottage

This place was more then perfect.We went up for my sister's wedding and couldn't have been any happier. The host of the property where amazing and very helpful. The cottage was cozy and peaceful. We loved the deck on the front of the place at night its relaxing. Would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone.

Lake view in Vermillion

Very relaxing stay in quiet lakeside community of Vermillion. Cottage was cute, cozy and very clean. Nice downtown area that has plenty of shops and eateries. Our hosts were very responsive to any inquiries. We would definely rebook the cottage.

The house was okay. Having breakfast on the deck was nice. Could have been cleaner— dirt on LR rug and crumbs on chairs and floor in kitchen needed to be vacuumed when we got there. Could use a fresh coat of paint. Quiet neighborhood. Close to town.

We had family come for our sons wedding and needed extra space and this home was perfect. Bride and her girls were able to get ready in the morning and go to the venue close by on the lake. Girls Overnight at the Lake

Quick getaway to see the Lake and tootle around Vermillion. The house was lovely and front porch with direct view of Lake Erie. Getting downtown was easy and enjoyed shops and restaurants. Locals assisted with recommendations. Didn’t make it to winery for outside music, but will be back.

Loved the cottage, except for the road contruction. Unable to appreciate deck. Location was good except for contruction. We could have come on another date if we had known.

Relaxing end to a girls trip from Putinbay.

My 2 best friends and I always do a 2 day get away to PIB - this year we wanted to extend our trip and do something different.I had several people recommend Vermilion. So I found your cottage and it was perfect! We shopped in the cute downtown and spent the evening chilling on the front porch. The house was very cute. Next time we are going to skip PIB and stay here for a few days and do some winery tours.

Clean & Roomy in a Nice Location!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage! I am a bit of a germaphobe, so I have trouble staying overnight away from home, but this cottage is awesome! Everything is clean and well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. The deck is gorgeous with a lovely view of the lake. Other places we've rented have always been much smaller than they were pictured, but this cottage is very spacious with plenty of room to move. It even has a washer/dryer, if you need it! It's in quiet location and close to so many fun places. Highly recommend!

My husband and I are longtime Huron residents. We're both teachers in local school systems and love to travel. After staying in many vacation homes ourselves, we decided to embark on becoming hosts. We are parents to three wonderful children. Our oldest daughter is a combat medic in the army and our other two children are in college. We have a son who is studying to become a mechanical engineer and our youngest girl is following in her parents footsteps and working on becoming a teacher. When we're not hosting, we love to get out on the lake in our small boat or travel to new places. We absolutely love sharing our wonderful area with others and we hope you come to love Huron and the surrounding areas the way we do.
