Great location! And a fun little home loved the game room. Likes sitting on the side yard and back patio. Kitchen had all the amenities.

We took a boat ride from Detroit, Michigan down to Vermilion municipal docs. Decided to stay in town
 this home is charming, nautical themed, clean, and well appointed. Definitely would recommend this home to others.

Awesome hosts and super cute property

The property is clean, well appointed, and nicely furnished. The hosts are exceptional - we had a slight unforseen hiccup which probably happens once every 1000 years and they were extremely responsive and it was taken care of immmediately. That is the mark of excellence and we would highly recommend this property and the hosts

Lovely home

We had a great time! Location is very walkable to downtown Vermilion and all it charm. We visited Chez Francois and Brewed Awakening among others. The game room really sets the house apart! The upstairs TV den was cozy. The Keurig options for a morning cup of coffee (or decaf or tea or hot chocolate!!) were plentiful and outstanding. Highly recommend.

This was our first visit to Vermilion, Ohio. We came to experience the Festival of the Fish which is held each year over Father's Day weekend. We were very happy to find this clean and very comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. Everything, from entering the home to communicating with the hosts went smoothly. The home was within easy walking distance to the festival as well as many restaurants, pubs, shops, and the beach. The home has lots of windows and outside light. There is a covered porch and also an open patio where we were able to begin and/or end our day outside enjoying a coffee or a beverage. The coffee bar was well stocked. Although we did not have children with us this home has a loft area and a game room that would be entertaining for all ages. We found this community quaint and full of friendly people and were told Christmas is another great time to visit. We would not hesitate to stay in this home again. Great little house that is close to town and well stocked with super comfortable beds that we enjoyed while visiting our daughter for family weekend at Oberlin College and Conservatory. The hosts were lovely and the coffee/tea and breakfast treats were very much appreciated.It was a bit rainy during our stay, but we would have enjoyed the available bikes to ride to town. We did walk, however, to town and he loved how pet friendly most of the shops are and how much attention he got with his newly purchased Ohio State sweatshirt on!I highly recommend this rental

This part of Vermilion has always been special to us and we wanted to be able to share it with others. We look forward to personally enjoying this home when not booked and perhaps one day passing it on to our children.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We fell in love with the historic, cape-cod charm of this home right when we saw it. It needed a good amount of work but we saw what it could be in the most desirable neighborhood of Vermilion. Immediately when walking in, you see the history of this century home when walking over the 100 year-old, original hardwood flooring. It is listed as a Vermilion Historic Register home and ss lovers of history, this created special meaning in the home to us. The old cape cod style, original hardwood floors, high ceilings, and historic place in its neighborhood attracted us to this home-- not to mention, being so close to the Lake and everything in downtown Vermilion. It is our hope that it will bring you as much happiness as it has brought us.
