About this space
This relaxing John’s Island retreat is less than 15 minutes to downtown Charleston and 20 minutes to Folly Beach! Come enjoy the great location, free highspeed WIFI and the extra amenities to enjoy (like a backyard firepit, Ping-Pong table and cornhole boards)!

We have tried to think of everything you will need to relax while you’re on vacation. Here’s what people say they love most about this home:
‱ New furnishings including memory foam mattresses in all bedrooms
‱ Smart TVs throughout
‱ Adirondack chairs and a firepit in the quiet backyard
‱ Ping pong table, cornhole and plenty of board games!
‱ Great location close to neighborhood bars and restaurants

The master bedroom features a comfy KING bed and a dedicated work space for the work from home crew! You’ll also find 2 more well-appointed bedrooms with quality memory foam queen mattresses and ample closet space. If needed the living room sofa can be pulled out for an additional queen bed. The living room and all bedrooms feature smart TVs so you can sign into your favorite streaming apps! There is also a HD digital antenna in the living room with all the network channels ready to go. The dining room is furnished with a large table that is able to seat 8 for those big family dinners! The large back yard with patio and table is a great place for your morning coffee, there is also a wood burning fire pit and yard games to enjoy! In the garage you’ll find a full-size ping pong table and a washer and dryer.

Guest have full access to the home except for the owner's closet in living room and supply cabinet in garage.

Please note the fireplace inside is currently inoperable and not available for use.

Please note there is a video doorbell next to the front door the can record any motion in its field of view.

Parking for 5 vehicles.

Fishing Trip

Our fishing trip got rained out but there was so much to do in a reasonable distance. (Beach, shopping, Charleston and restaurants) The house was perfect, clean and we enjoyed the back yard and ping pong table!

Convenient to Wadmalaw Island and Charleston

The location was excellent - within half an hour of family in Charleston and family on Wadmalaw Island. Comfortable beds, attractive backyard. I recommend asking for more exterior photos or doing a street view search so that you can see that it's a few feet off of River Road, so traffic noise was a factor, which may matter more to some people than others. For us, the easy access to Maybank Highway was worth it.

Our group of 6 adults loved it. Yes the house is close to a busy road and loud, but we knew that based on reviews. The house is a perfect charmer and had everything we needed to make meals, celebrate a birthday and rest comfortably.It is difficult to pull out of the driveway at busy times, but not a deal breaker for us. The host does not send messages all the time like other properties I have stayed at, which I personally appreciate. However he does respond within a reasonable time frame to questions.We will definitely book this house again in the future.

We can’t do anything about the traffic on the road but it’s quite dangerous. You need blackout curtains in bedrooms and the bathroom needs attention. You also need to update to decent furniture in the living room because it’s very uncomfortable!
