As soon as you walk on to the screened in porch you will feel at home! This house has been in our family since it was built by my husband's great-grandfather and has been so loved and well taken care of. There is a front living room perfect for a relaxing talk and a back den to get cozy and watch a movie. You can enjoy a spacious kitchen with gas range or walk to downtown to one of our amazing restaurants! There is a big backyard, partially fenced in and a grill for your pleasure. The house has four beautifully decorated bedrooms and two stocked bathrooms. There is a stackable washer and dryer with laundry soap provided. We have a regular dining room table that seats 6 and a kitchen table that seats another 4. You will love the house, the space it provides and the area just as much! We look forward to providing you with a FIVE STAR experience.

Such a great home! Lots of space for large family. Communication with host was immediate. Close to everything downtown, yet very quiet. Super TicTacToe was a hit with all of the adults!

The host was so quick to respond to all communication. She was even able to get us an early check in. The house was wonderful. As so many others, the front porch was very nice. Really nice neighborhood. Already looking to book next year

Cute, Comfy and Cozy! Felt like home. Beds were great and front porch was awesome during a couple thunderstorms. Only suggestions would be brighter light in the bathroom and a full length mirror. Would stay here again!

Perfect stay for the Holidays

We have extended family in Gainesville and they hosted Thanksgiving. This house was perfect for us, it suited everyone’s needs and 5 minutes from the rest of our family. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area or looking for a staycation.

We had a wonderful, comfortable stay here in June 2025. Kate went out of her way to provide toys and fun things for my kiddos, and my favorite part was enjoying the rocking chairs on the screened front porch!

Excellent hosts, exactly as advertised! The pictures don’t do this place justice. Room for everyone to spread out and yet cozy. We had a lovely stay and will certainly book here next time we are in Gainesville!

I want to start by saying that the home is absolutely beautiful. I was visiting for graduation and it was great to have enough space for the family. The home is well appointed with everything that you need. The thing that stood out the most for me was the thoughtful consideration for kids that travel. We had forgotten my grandsons child’s plate and I was so glad to see that there were plates in the cabinets for kids and books/toys as well. The home is ideally situated near Brenau and downtown. It is very clean and quite cozy. If you are in the area I would definitely recommend staying here.

Very cute place — great porch and comfortable beds, seating, etc. Nicely decorated. It’s really close downtown and Brenau, but you feel secluded, which was nice. The owner was very responsive to questions. The driveway is very steep with a sharp angle between the driveway and street.

Such a convenient and cute house. Much roomier than the pictures represent, the host had everything there that a guest would need.

Quaint and cozy cottage home!

I live locally and my family came into town for a wedding. It was the perfect place for them to stay. Situated so close to the downtown area - easy to get anywhere. My father-in-law brought his dog and the back yard was the perfect size and so easy to let him in and out. The beds are super comfortable and the host responded right away when they had called with a question. Lots of places to sit and relax and they loved the front porch!

Great House!

This house was exactly as advertised in the listing. It is well appointed and very comfortable. Close to the downtown area, we could have walked if we'd looked at the map better. With two living areas and two dining areas there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable and spread out. We enjoyed our stay. Host was responsive.
