This inviting space features three bedrooms, two with kings, one with a queen, and an additional space with a cozy single bed. Whether you’re unwinding in the king-sized comfort or enjoying the quaint ambiance of the queen room, each corner of this cottage is designed for relaxation. Our family throughly enjoyed our weekend thanks to plenty of room and comfy beds!

It was so nice to stay in a home with 2 living areas and 2 bathrooms! The kitchen was very well stocked with spices, coffee and creamer and cooking utensils. The house was very clean. Since it was Halloween the hosts even left a trick or treat bucket with some treats! So fun! Our family would definitely stay at Cottage Clair again! Highly recommend!

Quiet Comfort Close to Everything

We recently stayed at this property while dropping our son off at his first year at ACU. After a long journey, we were met with a well appointed, quiet home with the most comfortable beds I’ve EVER slept in. The hosts were prompt with any questions or concerns we had and we truly fell in LOVE with this quant and comfortable home. Highly recommend this house for your stay in Abilene!

Thanksgiving get away

This property was perfect for part of my family to stay in over the Thanksgiving weekend and celebrate a family birthday with brunch. The house was very comfortable and spacious and the decor puts it over the top! The neighborhood was perfect! The hosts were great to work with and communicated check in and check out clearly and way in advance. We will rent this property again.

Beautifully Decorated and Very Clean!

Wonderful house. Very spacious and decorated in such a cute fashion! Check in and check out we're both very smooth. The extra touches llke a personalized Graduation sign for our daughter were above and beyond what was expected. Water bottles, sparkling cider, and coffee were a welcome treat!

Charming and Welcoming

Pictures accurate. Clean and well equipped. We spent a lot of time at the house hanging out with family and having meals. Really enjoyed our stay. Nathan and DJ made sure we felt welcomed, even having ballpark snacks for us as they knew we were in town to watch my daughter games at McMurry.

Everything about this house was just absolutely adorable. The attention to detail and all of the seating areas the collections the rooms that thread of teal all throughout was just awesome. The only thing that we would change would be to put in adult size toilets.

Cottage Clare was the perfect place to meet and visit with friends in Abilene, TX. We had a party of 4 adults. Finding a VRBO with our preference of king beds isn’t always easy. The Clare Cottage has three. We walked through the house admiring the perfect eclectic decor. We all commented on the quiet older neighborhood one of the guys enjoyed a morning walk. Communication was prompt and a replacement coffee maker was brought after realizing the current one wasn’t working. The cottage has all the tech needed nowadays. Our only disappointment was we had to leave a day early.

When the four of us staying at Cottage Clare walked in we all immediately giggled delightfully. Three of us want to move into it permanently. The decorations are quirky, beautifully color coordinated and obviously done by someone who enjoyed making it all work. There are interesting things to see and explore but decorated in such a tasteful fun way. There is a cute trike on top of the fridge!! Besides the charming bones and timeless character, (it’s an older but well cared for home) the beautiful painted floors, the amazing colorful chandeliers, the house was very spacious but still cozy. Two of the beds are huge but all the beds were extremely comfortable. Julie took care of all our needs. She went above and beyond with such kindness and professionalism. Julie is by far the best manager I have dealt with at any vacay rental place. The house was stocked with everything anyone could need with plenty of back ups. I want to return, and often.
