The Pickwick Place -- Penn State/Beaver Stadium/Football

Welcome to Pickwick Place! Located less than 10 minutes from Beaver stadium, 3 miles from Penn State university! This is the perfect home to unwind when traveling to the area! With 3 bedrooms this home has everything whether traveling with a family or group of friends! Backyard access to a beautiful, secluded park via a hidden trail! Relax outdoors on the deck or enjoy the peacefulness with a campfire in our firepit! Close to everything but secluded, private and room to unwind!

Our home can sleep up to 12 guests.
Sleeping quarters are three bedrooms on the second floor.

Our basement is available for parties of more than 6 persons. The basement has a full-size bed, a queen sleeper sofa, and an additional bathroom.

We enjoyed the multiple spacious living spaces, especially the sunroom. The kitchen and diningroom worked well for our thanksgiving dinner. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was very nice with a park in the back. Conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. We had a great stay. Highly recommend.

Our family of 7 greatly enjoyed our stay at Pickwick Place! The home was very clean, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for us to eat together, relax and enjoy one another’s company. We also greatly appreciated how well stocked the home was! A lot of attention to detail went into making our stay fantastic! We hope to stay again in the future!

This property exceeded our expectations in every way. It was an inviting home that was super clean and extremely spacious. There were fun touches that included games, message book, visitor flag wall, coffee, and snacks. Ample driveway parking prevented the need for street parking. The house held our three family get together with comfortable beds. We never ran out of hot water which is always a plus. This was our favorite home rental property in PSU!

This was a wonderful place to stay with family during our football weekend - wish we had more time to enjoy the comforts this house offers. Loved the extra touches by the hosts like the guestbook, wall decorations to show where visitors are from, snacks, good coffee, etc. And the location was great! Because we were so busy during the weekend, we missed some communications from the hosts, so a day before departure message would have helped in our case. But it was our miss since we weren’t checking for messages. I recommend this place as a great spot for your visit to State College.

Graduation

We had an amazing stay! The house was perfect and had everything we needed. It’s very spacious, with plenty of room for a large group. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and both the porch and backyard were fantastic for relaxing. The property backs up to a park with a walking trail, which was a great bonus. Communication with the owners was easy and smooth. The location is also excellent—close to everything. I would definitely stay here again!

PSU Football Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at the Pickwick Place! Close to the center of town and campus. Lovely setting. Well appointed home with lots of living space. It was just perfect for a return to my hometown for a PSU Football experience with our adult children!!

Beautiful neighborhood - Lovely House

Came to State Collage to celebrate a good friends wedding. There was plenty of room for all of us. I would be happy to rent this place again if ever again in state collage. Thanks for having us.

Weekend with my Adult Kids

We had a lovely stay. The house was close to everywhere, welcoming and it was easy to find anything we needed. Enjoyed sitting around the firepit with my children who are spread across the state. A lot of laughter shared and good memories made! thank you!

Summer Graduation

Great stay at Pickwick Place. We were in State College for my son’s MBA graduation. The house was awesome with plenty of room, comfortable beds and close to everything. The house was well stocked with a high chair, toddler toys and books for my 18 month old grandson. We would highly recommend Pickwick place for all Penn State events.

PICKWICK STAY WAS GOOD

The property was nice and cozy, we enjoyed a short weekend there. The house was cleaned. I think the property has not boosted boiler installed. The hot water not working when two or three people shower one after another. As all, was a nice place to stay.
