Wonderfully clean and well decorated with everything you might need for your stay. I appreciated the blackout curtains especially trying to sleep in after working till 1 am and trying to sleep in as late as possible. Wonderful array of snacks and coffee selections. Very responsive hostess. Wonderful stay.

The Yellow House was perfect for our family for move in weekend at Texas Tech. The house is conveniently located and was a great home base for us during a busy weekend. The kitchen is well stocked and the furniture is comfy. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Lubbock.

Our overall stay was wonderful. The house was clean and well stocked the toiletries and cooking staples. The controllable AC unit in each room was definitely a bonus. I definitely recommend this house for your next stay. The owners were kind and communicate very well.

Great location! Conveniently close to the Tech Campus and Children's Hospital. The house is nestled between several businesses but felt very safe and comfortable. Refrigerator was a bit small, but we made it work. Host was very responsive when a minor issue arose. Would definitely stay here again!

Hi Deborah, thank you for sharing your experience. During your stay, we experienced record low temperatures in the single digits as part of the winter storm that came through our area. The home is equipped with heating units in each bedroom, living room, an electric fireplace in the entry way and we added an additional portable heater to the bathroom. While these systems are typically more than sufficient, extreme weather can impact overall heating performance. I wish you would have mentioned this when I checked in with you mid-stay, and we could have brought you additional heaters. We are sorry you were uncomfortable. We do appreciate the feedback and will continue monitoring to ensure guest comfort during rare cold events.

Perfect House for Family Get Together

We really enjoyed staying at this house for our Thanksgiving holiday! The house was perfect for all of our kids/parents/siblings to get together. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were very nice. We will definitely stay here again!

Comfortable stay

This was a last minute booking for us. We were in town for a very short stay. We had a group of 5 and didn't want to be cramped in a hotel. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Each room was very cozy and the beds were very comfortable. Also, each room had a television which was a nice plus. We enjoyed hanging out as a family in the living room. The couch was huge enough for all of us to sit comfortably and relax. The only small issue for me is I didn't like how thin the curtains are in the front room. At night when the lights are on you can see very well through the curtains from outside. The host was kind and responsive and I really appreciated the small details to make their guests feel at home.
