Welcome to our charming 3-bedroom vacation home in Birmingham! Nestled just a short 8-minute drive from Shuttlesworth National Airport: Approximately less than 20 minutes from University of Alabama-Birmingham, you'll find yourself surrounded by the city's vibrant energy and top attractions: Barber Motorsports Park, LegacyArena, Top Golf, Coca-Cola Amphitheater, Downtown Magic City, BJCC. Historic Sites: The Civil Rights Institute: 16 Street Baptist Church, Kelly Ingram Park.

As a traveler, you'll love the thoughtful amenities we've provided to make your stay comfortable and convenient. Enjoy free WiFi, a smart TV, and the convenience of a washing machine and dryer. The fully stocked kitchen is perfect for whipping up delicious meals, with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, and all the essential appliances and cookware you need. We also have a fire pit that will only be available for the months of November 1st till March 31st fire pit rules are located on fire wood in laundry room. Gazebo is now Seasonal due to Birmingham crazy weather it’s available May 1st till November 1st.

When it's time to unwind, relax in the cozy living room or step outside to the outdoor play area and patio furniture. The kids will delight in the selection of books, games, and toys available. Also with essentials like air conditioning, heating, linens, and a hair dryer, you'll have everything you need for an stress-free getaway.

It was a very cozy feeling place, very clean , it would have helped make our access to the house key easier if the lockbox had been attached to something higher up than the logs on the porch floor, though. I was able to do the combination but it was hurting my back to have to bend over and struggle with the box on the short chain to put the combination in to unlock it to get the key. The floors were not level, they felt uneven to walk on,but we did love the hardwood floors very much! Laura, our host , was very gracious and hospitable , she left us a small basket of snacks on the dining table , which we appreciated very much. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay there! Thanks for your hospitality and friendliness, Laura! God bless you!

This house had everything we needed and was kept up very well and was just overall very nice. Would stay here again! Loved the extra room off of one of the rooms for our daughter to sleep in!

Lovely stay, would stay again!

We stayed one night for a local event. Our amazing host was very accommodating, communicating quickly, with clear details. Everything was clean, smelled lovely, just as advertised. I couldn't have asked for a better stay. The common theme of noise is unfortunately accurate with this home being in the heart of town, trains and local street noise was heard but it did not prevent me or my friend from getting a good night sleep. We felt very safe and welcome here. Give this home a chance, you won't be disappointed!!

Nice house and host

The house was great inside, very clean and had all the amenities. Host was easy to communicate with and attentive to any needs. We felt safe in the house with the security system and lighting around the property. However, we felt cautious about the surrounding area including the nearby public housing and Kings discount grocery.

Convenient, Homey Stay

The host was magnificent. Very clear and helpful communication from the time of booking through to checkout. Host was accommodating and helpful. Property is conveniently located near airport, easy access to downtown and interstate. Property was clean, spacious and secure. Beds were very comfortable. Driveway to accommodate rental so that we did not have to park on the street. Nice, spacious backyard with a charcoal grill. Fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer made the stay easy and feel like home. There was a basket of snacks available and a note with nearby things of interest. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends/family traveling in the area.

Felt like home

This place was really cute and much more roomy than I expected for a 2 bdrm. Everything was nice..decor, amenities, space. It literally felt like home. Genesis Bungalow!!!

We loved our stay in this Birmingham Bungalow! Our host went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for our time spent in Alabama! A thoughtful welcome basket was waiting for us full of snacks and treats for our toddlers. This place was perfect for our little family. Fenced in back yard for the kiddos to run off some energy. Fully equipped kitchen ready with whatever you’d need
even a grill in the backyard! Living area was cozy, bedrooms were spacious and the home was minutes away from a few amazing concert venues. Will definitely try and stay again if we’re ever back in town.

Genesis House

The property was very nice. I love the charm of older homes. We were going to Barber motorsports track and the house is about 20 minuets away so it worked out well. Laura reached out a couple times to see if there was anything we need. She also had a snack basket for us which was a nice touch. If I go back to Birmingham I would stay there again.
