We really enjoyed our stay. Two families in town for Samford Family Weekend. The house was clean and spacious. It was convenient to campus and Homewood. We cooked, watched college football and had a great time. I would definitely stay here again.

Very impressed by the cleanliness and decor in this beautiful home! We were in town for the Jessie Murph concert/17th birthday celebrations and we enjoyed staying here so much! We felt safe and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again on future trips to Birmingham!

The house sits in a very nice neighborhood. The interior is appointed very tastefully and the host provides everything that you might need during your stay.All I can do is to recommend this property to anybody who wants to stay at a property in the Birmingham, AL area.Whenever I return to visit my son at UAB, I will make sure to come back to this beautiful place.

This home is very clean, well decorated, has most amenities you need and more, plus it is close to UAB and a lot of restaurants. Coming from South Florida, it was too cold for us to sit in the balcony but could imagine how nice it would be in warmer weather. Sitting in the living room sofa you can see many trees around you that it felt like you were in a forest and not in the middle of Birmingham. The host, Young, was very nice and welcoming and very responsive to any queries I had. Plenty of parking spots in the front (side street) and back (private). If you have mobility issues it’s easier to use the back parking as you don’t need to go up any stairs whereas the front entrance is only accessible by slightly steep stairs. The road to the back is narrow and need more careful driving at night (for me).We love this place and would like to stay there again if we go back to Birmingham.

Excellent Stay!

We couldn’t have been more pleased with Young and Iris Manor. The cleanliness, decor, amenities, and location were all wonderful. We experienced storms, which triggered the smoke alarm to chirp. Host Young was responsive and provided an easy fix, which did the trick. If traveling to B’ham, we highly recommend this rental. Thank you so much Young!

Well appointed

We came to Birmingham for a weeklong baseball tournament in Hoover. The house was conveniently located 20 minutes from where we needed to be. Nicely decorated and met the needs of teenagers, adults, and kids. The host communicated well. The neighborhood is in a transition
but it is a quiet street. Very close to UAB. The house sits up on a hill so the easiest way to access is on the street around back. It is narrow and bumpy but we didn’t have any trouble. Very nice home.

Birmingham Hills

Beautiful, quiet setting on the side of a hill amongst the treetops
..Host thought of everything, but when I did have one minor issue with the Thermostat, about 10 PM on a Friday night she immediately called and walked me through the instructions
The Problem wasn’t the thermostat, but my inability to operate the most high end of thermostats!! My age became obvious
