Comfortable and convenient

Comfortable stay that had all the amenities I could possibly need. Access to a kitchen. Easy walk to transportation. Bed is comfortable. Owners very responsive to questions. Would stay there again.

Lovely unique home in a great location

This was a great find in an up and coming location. There were great restaurants within walking distance and alittle convenience store for drinks and snacks close by. The subway is about 3 short blocks and we had good luck getting ride-share cars quickly as well. Most of all, Desmond and Rodney were great hosts and we were very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again on our return visits if it's available.

Appartement spacieux avec la possibilité de pouvoir utiliser une cuisine quand on le souhaitait

Appartement situé dans un endroit calme non loin du métro A.C et proche de magasins d’alimentation et de petits restaurants. A signaler plusieurs points d’amelioration : télé souvent défaillante, ventilateur central bruyant au point de l’arrêter la nuit. Il serait utile de prévenir que l’aeroport est accessible en train car à l’aller Nous aurions économisé plus de 100€ de supershuttle que nous avons attendu 1/2 heure. Prix par les transports 5$ + 2.75$ avec la metrocard. Appartement ancien offrant de beaux volumes et situé dans une rue calme. Hôtes très discrets mais disponibles si besoin. Le fait d’etre situé à Brooklyn nous a permis de découvrir ce quartier riche sans être trop éloigné de Manhattan . Séjour très enrichissant.

This guest made no mention that they had full access to a kitchen that they did not pay for, also they stayed an entire 8 hours beyond their check out time. They did not know how to operate the remote for the TV and kept disengaging the settings.Overall the space was left very untidy.

We enjoyed our visit and the convenience of neighborhood businesses for groceries, pizza, coffee/breakfast and parking. We only wish the TV was set higher than the footboard of the bed!

Great Brooklyn Location!

Nice Clean true Brooklyn property. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was bigger than imagined and the subway is only a 5 - 10 minute walk (depending how fast you walk). and about a 30 minute A express train to the city. It's a safe neighborhood with a good selection of food nearby.

I loved the neighborhood, I loved the quietness of the property. Desmond and Rodney are great host. If you want to experience the true Brooklyn, this location is perfect, it has a great mixture. Multiple stores near by as well as transit opportunities, stay here and you can get your slice of New York Pizza right on the corner! Wonderful stay.

Great value for money in a lovely neighbourhood

Really enjoyed our 4 night stay in the property - it made a great base to explore NYC. Easy to access via the subway, only a 10min walk to the nearest station (Utica Ave on the A/C line). Some lovely local restaurants, I'd definitely recommend Peaches and Saraghina's. Desmond was very accommodating even when we arrived at 2.30am thanks to the joys of JFK's immigration queues! Would definitely stay here again...

Für ein paar Tage in NYC richtig toll! Gute Anbindung: In 30 Minuten mit der U-Bahn mitten in Manhattan. Wer es so richtig „wie in New York“, weit ab vom Touristentroubel mag, ist hier genau richtig.

Beautiful, affordable and convenient

This apartment is lovely and located on a quiet street but close to restaurants and bars. Very short walk to the metro. Super comfortable apartment but there is no kitchenette or anything. Just a mini fridge. We would recommend!

Comfortable stay

Comfortable, spacious and elegantly appointed room. Can get warm because it is on the top floor but the A/C was very effective. The hosts were wonderful and very prompt with their communication. My only suggestion is to improve the WiFi - it can get a little sluggish in the evenings.

Our stay in Brooklyn

My husband and I enjoyed staying at this property. Our room was spacious enough for two people and had all the necessities. This property is old and has lots of personality, it’s a big room with tall ceilings and great urban view from three windows. Rodney is very friendly, hospitable and provides great advice about the neighborhood. This property is conveniently located in 10 min walk to the metro station. We would definitely recommend this place and will keep it in mind for our future trips to NY.

Just lovely

Accommodation was fine, local area was safe with coffee and restaurants to choose from, travelling in and out of NY takes about 10 minutes to walk to station and 15 minutes on the train. Rodney and Desmond helpful, informative and friendly Would stay again

I left my heart in Bed-Stuy

A one week stay in this beautiful brownstone was just what I needed. The room was large, comfortable and convenient. Despite the sweltering heat of summer, the overhead fan and cooling system in the room made for enough air to circulate throughout the room. And, it was just a few blocks from my daughter's apartment as well! I will most certainly return to this welcoming home.

Cute Suite!

The apartment was a perfect place for us to stay for a few days during our transition to a new apartment. The space is a great size it’s more like a private hotel suite. The place was clean had amazing pillows and little touches like the best smelling hand soap ever and an iron. There’s a good amount of food spots to eat/order from. Also parking wasn’t that difficult to find even at night. All in all it was great spot to stay. The hosts would always respond promptly to any of our questions.

Cute apartment in Brooklyn

We stayed here for 5 nights and were amazed by the apartment and also by the friendliness of the owners! We landed late and even though the owners were not present to hand the keys because they had an appointment they arranged everything for us to get them easily. The bed plus the 2 leisure armchairs in the apartment are super comfortable (so sad we couldn’t take them with us ^^ ). The fridge is big enough to hold water and some basics for a week. Everything is clean and the street is quiet. There are several train stations and shops for daily supplies close by (5-10min walking). A great starting point for the strolls through the city!

A very comfortable place to stay in Brooklyn

The owners Desmond and Rodney are very nice, pleasant, and accessible. They were extremely helpful and accommodating with our early arrival and late departure. The place is clean, sunny, and comfortable. The location was perfect for us - a short walk to the subway station - with fast access to JFK airport and Manhattan. Plenty of places to eat or shop for basics are also nearby. We would not look any further for a place to stay next time we visit NYC.

Nice neighborhood - great location

Desmond and Rodney’s apartment is clean, comfortable and private. It’s also located on a surprisingly quiet street of attractive brownstones. There are quaint coffee shops and a few bars and bistros all within an easy walk. The subway is 4 blocks away and allows easy access to anywhere you want to go. Lower Manhattan is about a 20 minute ride - Columbus circle and midtown about 35 on the A/C. Parking was easy (another pleasant surprise) and Check In was simple. Desmond was responsive and helpful. We had a fantastic trip and highly recommend this cute and comfortable apartment

Sunny room on a charming street

We enjoyed our stay here immensely. The room is situated in a brownstone on a street of brownstones. The room had tall windows and was bright and sunny. We loved the sheets, the towels, and the water pressure. Desmond and Rodney were pleasant and available. We loved the shops and restaurants nearby (Natural Blend was our favorite), but it was also just a few blocks to get to the subway to Manhattan. We highly recommend this spot as comfortable and convenient.

Very charming.
