A delightful apartment roomy and comfortable enough for the 4 adults and 2 kids.

Denise is a very pleasant host and keeps the apartment in excellent condition. It is clean and well maintained. The three levels offer privacy and quiet when two families get together to travel. We drove 250 miles to get there and I was able to keep in touch with Denise through Homeaway email to let her know what time I'd be there with traffic building as I got closer. I will stay here again on my next trip to Brooklyn. I highly recommend this large apartment.

Loved the place and loved the host!

I was hesitant about renting in Brooklyn just because I have only stayed in hotels while in NY, however Denise made it easy for us. She welcomed us when we arrived well after midnight, gave us a tour and also left us a bottle of wine. She was so detailed with providing information on WiFi, transportation, restaurants and parking. I called her during our stay to ask her questions and she responded right away. The house was impeccable. Very clean, a lot of room and very comfortable. Plenty of towels, blankets etc provided. My family and I had such a great experience. We felt safe not only in the house but the neighborhood. I highly recommend and will def return.

VERY GREAT STAY

Hi, out stay (4 adults) in this apt had been very confortable. Denise (owner) is a very kind and efficient person. The apt was very clean, no noise, beds confortable, everything you need is in: coffee maker with coffee pods, toaster, home cleaning products, tv in the dining room and in the beedrooms, bath and beedroom linens, heating is good, notebook and wifi. Very close at the apt there are markets and restaurants, at 5 minute walk one of the principal lines of the subway A/C (Uptown -Central park, Downtown -JFK airport). Photos of the apt in the annonce are realistic. If you ask to Denise she takes you to the Airport with a confortable car. Thank u very much Denise, I don't forget my duties. I hope to return in NYC, see you soon. Anna & Friends.

Brooklyn Celebration

Excellent location, within walking distance to many key attractions; whistle clean, well laid out, spacious, ideal for a family gathering involving others as visitors for a morning afternoon or evening. Owner was attentive and available (thank you Denise). We'd come back, and give it an unqualified exceptional rating except for one deficiency: the heating system is on a set central control which cannot be adjusted for this space alone. It was too hot for us. And in this day and age of climate disruption, opening windows to get some cool air, which just causes the system to burn more fossil fuel, is not a sustainable idea. Kudos for windows that open, but not for this reason. If this negative feature were fixed we would give this property a unqualified, enthusiastic endorsement. As it is we appreciated the whole experience and enjoyed ourselves.

Disappointed would not recommend.

The owner Denise was nice and tried hard to accommodate me and my family however we stayed in house less than 24 hrs of our 3 night stay. The neighborhood is awful and the neighbors where outside smoking Marijuana and I couldn't have my kids around that type of environment. Not to mention the cleanliness of the place was not up to standards. Their was hair allover the bed in the back bedroom and in the bathrooms. The bathrooms where nasty. It appeared that whoever cleaned the place just took the mop and ran it over the place to make it smell good. I gave the owner back her keys and my family and I left she apologize and I told her it was OK and let her keep the $721 for the few nights just because I didn't have the energy to fight about it. My trip was already ruined and I had to go find a hotel. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Also the apartment is in a basement it's not the steps she showing in the picture that belongs to her other tenants . The apartment for rent is below. Everything in the pictures was in the apartment but overall it's a big disappointment.

TrĂšs belle maison, dĂ©corĂ©e avec goĂ»t, trĂšs spacieuse et trĂšs confortable. Nous Ă©tions une famille de 5 adultes et trĂšs Ă  l’aise dans ces grandes piĂšces. La maison est situĂ©e Ă  moins de 5 minutes d’un mĂ©tro. Un bus passe Ă  proximitĂ© immĂ©diate . TrĂšs calme et cela est apprĂ©ciable quand on revient de Manhattan. Denise, la propriĂ©taire, est adorable, Ă  l’écoute. Elle Ă©tait lĂ  pour notre arrivĂ©e et notre dĂ©part tout en restant trĂšs discrĂšte. Vraiment trĂšs apprĂ©ciable !

Appartement confortable à l'abri du bruit et proche des lieux intéressants de New York

Nous avons passé une semaine agréable dans cet appartement trÚs confortable et bien situé. Nous vraiment apprécié la localisation de cet appartement qui nous a permis, grùce au métro (ligne A et C) , de rejoindre assez rapidement tous les lieux importants de New York mais aussi de se reposer dans un endroit calme loin du bruit de cette grande ville. L'appartement est bien entretenu, décoré avec beaucoup de gout et bien équipé. Nous avons également apprécié la présence des commerces d'alimentation à proximité ouverts tard le soir. Un grand remerciement à Denise pour son amabilité et sa disponibilité lors de ce séjour.

Adorable appartement dans Brooklyn dans un quartier résidentiel et calme à moins de 5 mn à pied du métro desservant Manhattan directement. 2 supermarchés à proximité mais privilégier celui prÚs du métro sur Fulton Street. Décoré avec beaucoup de goût, l'appartement comprend 3 étages, cuisine ouverte et grand salon au 1er, 2 grandes chambres au rdc et une salle de jeux au sous-sol. Rien ne manque et vous passerez un séjour sans souci. Merci Denise pour toutes les gentilles attentions et pour votre accueil. Le meilleur rapport qualité prix sans aucun doute.

Nous avons été trÚs bien accueilli, l'appartement est d'une rare propreté et trÚs bien entretenu.

Un appartement formidable !

L'appartement est fidÚle aux photos, spacieux, trÚs propre et bien entretenu. On y trouve tout ce qu'on a besoin jusqu'aux vélos pour se balader. Proche du métro qui va directement au centre de Manhattan je vous recommande vivement cette agréable propriété trÚs calme. Denise a été adorable et répondra à toutes vos questions sur les choses à faire à New York. J'ai rarement autant apprécié une location.

This place is absolutely wonderful. I truly enjoyed my stay at this location. I felt very safe in the neighborhood and I was very pleased to see so much parking on the street. Denise is so nice and made me feel at home. Everything is so nice and clean.

Great place!

This is a vey large house for the city, divided into 3 stories. It gave us ample space and with its 2 bathrooms, dining room and well-equipped kitchen, we were able to take full advantage of the property and chose to eat in in the evenings. In the summer, we could have had access to the back yard. The host was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. We would stay again any time.

Why no 6 stars?

We've stayed at many HomeAway's and the like and it's been rare we've been dissatisfied. This location was, though, exceptional and all down to the landlady, Denise. Two couples visiting NYC, really Manhattan, and firstly we wanted an early check-in and late departure and Denise was able to accommodate both and was personally there and right on time. Check-in was superb and she gave us a warm and confident feeling from the get-go. The little touches we much appreciated - e.g. umbrellas, charge adapters, USB chargers, a bottle of wine and corkscrew. There are 3 levels. The lowest is the pool room which we didn't use. The middle and the basement entrance are two nicely equipped queen bedrooms and (the) one bathroom/shower. Handy for local restaurants including the excellent Corner Grind for breakfast and coffee. Ten or so minute walk to the C and A trains and a short ride to Manhattan or Brooklyn Bridge. Loved denise.

Ein sehr guter Ort

Von uns bekommt diese Wohnung auch 5 Sterne! Sie ist genau wie beschrieben, groß, gepflegt und bestens ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Die Betten sind bequem und das zweite (große) WC ist eine zusĂ€tzliche Annehmlichkeit, wenn man zu viert oder mit noch mehr Personen hier ist. Wir haben es jeden Abend genossen, nach unseren AusflĂŒgen wieder in unser erholsames „Zuhause“ zurĂŒckzukehren und in der gemĂŒtlichen WohnkĂŒche zu sitzen. Denise ist eine sehr freundliche, zugewandte Person und eine großartige Gastgeberin. Auch wir wurden mit einer Flasche Wein u.a. GetrĂ€nken empfangen. Wir haben sie mit Freude auch ein wenig persönlich kennengelernt. Die gute Verkehrsanbindung können wir nur bestĂ€tigen. Mit der fußlĂ€ufig entfernten Sub-way ist man schnell in Manhattan, und es gibt Busse in alle Richtungen Brooklyns. Da wir 14 Tage hier waren, haben wir abends öfter gekocht. Zum Einkaufen können wir den Super-markt Bedford Avenue/Ecke Monroe Street empfehlen. Kulinarisch hat uns das Hill Cafe in der Putnam Ave 17 besonders gut gefallen – leckeres Essen und ein supernetter Service. In der nĂ€heren Umgebung war das Brooklyn-Museum ein Highlight und der dahinter liegende Prospect-Park eine grĂŒne und ruhige Oase. Sonntags findet dort in den Sommermonaten der Smorgasburg-Foodmarket statt.
