Relax on the front porch after exploring the trails, river and historic sites in Palatka (Native American word for "The Crossing") Located within 25 minutes to the beach or St Augustine, town offers a respite from all the modern world. The St Johns River renowned for trophy Bass is less than 2 blocks away. The riverfront park has a boat ramp, rental of kayaks, benches, food truck and tables overlooking the ever changing river. Fish, walk, spa, read or write that book, enjoy one of the many town festivals, historic museums and more. Brick lined shops and restaurants are two blocks away. A small theater and many churches are a short walk. This South Historic District home was built in 1885 in the towns hayday. There are 4 large apartments with front and rear porches and a shady yard.
