Beautiful ground-floor apartment located 1.5 blocks from beautiful dog-friendly Forsyth Park. Take a walk or run around the 1.2-mile park, or bring a blanket and relax with your favorite book, or grab a coffee at the park cafe. All of downtown is easily walkable or take a bike ride to River Street being just over 1 mile away. Keyless entry, modern kitchen, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer. Apartment has a room that may be used as an office or sitting room.

The location is wonderful! Everything was as described and the space was clean and cozy. The garden out back was a nice touch. Amenities like silverware and plates were basic, but everything met our needs. We really enjoyed the historic feel and ability to walk to so many places in the historic area. Parking was also super easy. Would definitely stay again!

The Gaston Garden was a great place to stay! It was located in a great location to walk everywhere in the beautiful city of Savannah. The backyard garden was fenced in making it easy for my dog to out. Definitely would stay here again. Host responded within 10 mins!

Excellent Apartment in the Heart of Historic Savannah

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this wonderful mixture of modern convenience and historic charm. The location was great, allowing me to leave my car parked most of the time and walk where I wanted to go. The owner was friendly and very quick to respond to my questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Little Hidaway

The house was nice. Floors are a little squeaky (but hey it was build in 1877 so..) If you have more than 2 people pick somewhere else, but for 2 its the perfect size. When you get there the entrance is under the stairs not up them. Its close, about 2 blocks, to stop 6 of the Old Town Trolley so if you plan to use it then you can just hope on there. Its also just a few blocks East of Forsyth Park North side. The only issue we had was the lighting is not great but we did fine and just let Joe know about it when we left. Also, i would suggest that maybe they get a Full length mirror. Its hard to get ready for a night out in Savannah and can only see the top half of your outfit but not a deal breaker at all. The host Joe was very quick to answer any and all our questions. If/when we come back we would love to stay here again.

Perfect location and quiet

Great location to walk to most places took a few blocks for shopping and dining. We felt very safe. Loved this old building that was nostalgic. Had beautiful antiques pieces. Great water pressure. Loved the garden out back. Was very quiet.

Great apartment right near Forsyth Park. Host was very accommodating when I left something in the room and had to come back to get it.

Safe, spacious, value.

Gorgeous neighborhood. Close to the river to walk, but far enough to get away from the noise and chaos. Responsive host. Spacious, clean, comfortable accommodations. Highly recommend.
