Escape to this welcoming historic home in picturesque Hyde Park NY. Built in 1865, the house remains one of the towns original Grand Victorian style homes. Recently purchased and renovated, the house showcases expansive ceilings which unite a spacious, open kitchen and dining area.
Common areas such as a warm and inviting parlor and sunlight family room add a cozy feel which offers guests plenty of space for gathering.
With 6 bedrooms, including 4 king beds, 3 sofa beds, 1 twin bed, 1 queen bed, and 1 full bed, there's plenty of space for all guests. All 4 king bedrooms are en suite. Relax in the serene atmosphere and take advantage of all our amenities, including an open floor plan, fresh linens, original fireplace, AC, outdoor fire pit, large TV with WiFi and heating.
Whether you're exploring the nearby attractions or simply enjoying the phenomenal surroundings, we hope you enjoy what our place and Hyde Park has to offer.

The Parker House was beautiful, well appointed, and the amenities to ensure our comfort and enjoyable stay above and beyond expectations. Our host and property manager were responsive and accessible throughout our stay and just lovely to meet. Our annual reunion of friends will look no further for any other property and do hope we have the privilege of visiting again soon!

Our host Theresa is a pleasure. Friendly and accommodating. The property is lovingly curated with interesting art, objects and furnishings everywhere you look. The beds are very comfortable and we had everything we could possibly need. The house swallowed up our party of 10 and could easily hold more. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a luxurious, roomy experience in the area. It was really well located.

Centrally located for golf, historical touring, Cullinary Institute of America, etc. wonderful accommodations for our large group. Well appointed. Linens included which is a big plus. Enjoyed fire pit and sitting outdoors where there was ample seating.

The house was beautiful and perfect for our family of 16. We had a great time gathering in the back yard, kitchen, living room and front porch. Theresa met us there at check in and was so kind and gracious. We loved it!!

The Parker House was absolutely perfect for our family for our daughter’s wedding weekend! We could not have asked for a more perfect setting for the bridal photos, and the beautifully appointed back porch was the ideal location for the “first look”. The house is simply stunning

Spectacular Gem in Hyde Park!

Theresa was an amazing host! She is quick to respond to any questions. The house is beautifully restored without losing the feel of staying in an historical home. The beds are so comfortable!! The home is centrally located near all you need and want to see. I highly recommend staying there!

The house has been lovingly restored and is the idyllic place for a family gathering. We were a party of 5 everyone had their own room with one to spare. The sitting rooms in the suites offer space for downtime. The backyard and porches were so tranquil and we all used them frequently. We would definitely go back and I would recommend the property. Theresa was easy to work with and reach.

Elegant Mansion!

This is a beautiful house, very spacious and even more impressive than in the pictures. Theresa was a lovely host and clearly put a lot of effort into the details throughout. The kitchen has everything you might need and there are numerous cozy places to relax. My friends and I had a wonderful stay!

Wonderful stay at the Parker House!

Our book club of 9 from Boston really enjoyed our stay at this magnificent property! The owner met us upon our arrival and gave us a tour of this lovely 6 bedroom home that was just perfect for our crew. This historic home in Hyde Park is decorated attractively and has a fully equipped kitchen, lots of towels in the bathrooms, comfortable beds, and many additional touches that made our stay very enjoyable. Great to have several sitting areas too. Loved the location in a quiet neighborhood and convenient to the places we wanted to visit. Great stay and hopefully we will get back to The Parker House sometime!

Girls Getaway

Our group of 6 women enjoyed a girls getaway at the Parker House. The house is amazing and the photos do not do it justice. Once inside you are in another era - just simply beautiful. We have never stayed anywhere that compares to the Parker House. Although the house is located right on a very busy street in Hyde Park, once inside you didn’t notice. Theresa was the best hostess and always answered our questions immediately!

Great Stay in Upstate!

We had a great experience in Hyde Park - the home was beautiful, spacious, historic, and had a large backyard for outdoor activities and yard games. Even with a sizable group of friends, we felt very taken care of and had all the modern amenities and comforts needed to enjoy ourselves. The location is within very close driving/walking distance of all the essentials (restaurants, grocery, etc.) - but still maintains an element of privacy that allowed us to really decompress and lean into "vacation mode". The property was clean & well-stocked, and Theresa was an incredible host, and easy to contact for check-in, support throughout the stay, even following up with us to ensure we had a positive experience. Looking forward for another stay in the future; definitely made my 30th birthday one to remember!

Elegant, comfortable, delightful, can't wait to come back

We were a little anxious to stay at a newer listing, but we were rewarded with a terrific stay. Theresa is a lovely hostess. Communications were great. She is quickly available and very responsive. The home is elegant, beautifully decorated, and truly "posh". The many little touches were so delightful. There is plenty of space for family meals, cocktails, etc, and then lots of little nooks for reading and one on one conversations both inside and out. The sleeping areas are very spacious, most with separate seating areas. There was coffee, all the conveniences- towels, pillows, shampoos, soaps, very ample flatware, plates and goblets for a nicely sized group. We look forward to going back
