Welcome to Southern Harbor Marina, your perfect vacation destination! Our marina and cabins are located on the picturesque West Point Lake near the Alabama-Georgia border.

We offer a range of accommodations, including cozy lakeside cabins, boat rentals, and covered and uncovered boat slips.

Our location spans over 200 acres of Army Corps land, providing plenty of space to explore and enjoy.
Parties are not allowed, the occupancy maximum for this location is 6, please do not exceed. Please be respectful of others around you. We ask that you be considerate of others around you and that after 10pm others should not hear you.

Great stay on the lake!

Simple calm relaxing spot to enjoy the lake. Nice marina. Not overcrowded with affordable rate charged. The manager was amazing.

Absolutely refreshing weekend

Lakeview was AMAZING Clean and comfortable 2bed 2 bath house.Simple, no frills inside BUT we spent a lot of time on the almost wrap around deck.Access could be slightly tricky when it rains. Get there before sunset to locate cabin.Bring board games or activities if internet gets flaky...or just sit gazing at the lighthouse and lake and birdsThank you!!

Beautiful elevated lakeside view.

The view tops the reason to stay at this lakeside location. The host was very gracious and responded quickly to calls. The cabin was very clean inside, however, lacked updated amenities. They say they are in the process of renovating the property but progress is fragmented. Great for a quiet getaway with an exceptional view.

NO WiFi and NOT clean

After arriving I immediately informed the manager that the WiFi was NOT working. Without WiFi the TV (ROKU) would not work, and cell service was poor. WiFi was NOT turned on during my stay, this is completely unacceptable and I believe I should be refunded based on the false advertising that WiFi was available. Also, toilets do not flush and significant amount of mold in bathroom and on shower curtains. Significant cleaning was required before the facilities were ready for use. Will NOT stay again.

As an avid fisherman, I was looking forward to a bit of rest and relaxation. However, the rental posted (Cabin15) is everything but a fisherman's idea of rest or relaxation. First, let me advise about the trip to the cabin. Be mindful of the gravel pavement getting to the property and please make sure you arrive during the daylight hours. Otherwise it is going to be an adventure finding the cabin. There's an immediate dropoff and a plethora of bushes preventing any access to the lake. The property isn't kid friendly and unless u plan to battle spiders, bring plenty of raid. There's a note stating WiFi is spotted but more like non existent. My wife works remotely and we had to end the trip a day early, as she only had her phone's wifi. The previous post of mold is accurate and should be boosted to the top rating, as the mold is still present. Meaning no one cared enough about the rating months ago to fix the issues. The toilets don't flush and we cannot honestly say we enjoyed the night spent. We understand we were obligated to pay for the night spent, and we explained that to the "manager." We were told we will review a partial refund for the night unspent. Words of advice to those looking to book, there's no access to the lake, simply a view. The patio furniture is broken and you will likely need to stand to enjoy the view. Do not open the sliding doors in the bedroom. Good luck!
