This new to Airbnb & newly updated oceanfront one-bedroom condo offers stunning views of the beach and sideviews of the boardwalk and new Ferris Wheel - all from the comfort of your own private balcony. One bedroom w/ Queen sized bed & a pullout sleeper sofa provides comfort for the whole crew! Full kitchen, washer and dryer in building! Park your vehicle for free and walk to virtually everything Pleasure Island has to offer.

Great area for exploring, beach lovers, shopping, terrific restaurants, nightlife, biking, surfing, sandcastle building, people watching OR just inside the gated area is privacy, if you need that as well!

Walk, bike, scoot to everything! Thai food, seafood, Mexican food, steakhouse, hotdogs, barbecue, TWO terrific coffee bars, Malama Cafe & Crush & Grind, everything your heart's delight is tucked away here in the heart of beloved, charming Carolina Beach! Everything is pretty close but Uber is available on the island.
PLEASE download the AirBnB app on your phone BEFORE you leave for your trip so you have quick access to ALL check-in instructions, access codes, WiFi info, your house manual & guidebook. All pertinent info is also emailed to you the day before check-in by AirBnB to the address you provided them. Check your spam/trash folder. Location and views were great and we enjoyed our stay. That said, the popcorn ceiling was damaged and needed to be repaired. Mattress in bedroom was very warn and mattress cover was stained both need to be replaced. Unfortunately I could only give this location 4 stars.

Overall Enjoyed

We loved the closeness to the boardwalk. It was convenient to park your car and not have to drive any place. HVAC worked well. Water stayed hot for all showers. Plenty of towels for our stay. The only thing I didn’t like was: the pull out couch had no linens, pillows, etc. I expected there to be sheets at minimum to use but there was nothing. So if you plan to use the pull out couch, bring your own. Also, asked a few questions throughout our stay with no response from anyone. Overall though, it was a very nice place to stay. Incredibly convenient and clean. Would definitely book again in the future.

Quick weekend getaway

As advertised but ceiling treatment flaking off in living space and paint peeling over shower.It didn’t hinder our enjoyment of the property but as an owner I would want it repaired before it gets worse. The place was clean and perfect for a quick weekend getaway for two people. Loved parking the car and walking everywhere. Easy walk to the beach and we decided to rent umbrella/ chairs instead of lugging our own stuff. The mattress could stand to be replaced. It is very saggy. It wasn’t too much of an issue for 3 nights but a longer stay might be a problem with someone who needs a firmer mattress. I read review about it being noisy but we didn’t find it out of the ordinary considering it’s right on the boardwalk. I brought a sound machine just in case. It’s a trade off if you want to be within walking distance of everything you might need. We enjoyed our time at our own Slice of Paradise very much.
