I recently spent 3 weeks in this apartment and I really can't say enough about how attentive the host was anticipating anything I might have needed and inquiring several times about my comfort. The apartment was very clean and tastefully furnished and all the amenities were exactly as advertised and situated in a wonderful neighborhood that was only a couple minute walk away from the beach and several very good grocery stores. It will definitely be the place I stay at for any future trips to Puerto Plata.

Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review Patrick ! It truly means the world to us that you felt comfortable, well cared for, and at home during your three-week stay. I was delighted to see the neighbors often asking about you when they didn’t see you around. The bond you formed with the seniors on the block, especially with my father, touched our hearts deeply. You didn’t just arrive as a guest; you left as a friend. And for that, we are very grateful. We will look forward to welcoming you back, on your next visit to Puerto Plata 🌴✨ Warmly ! Hi! I'm a proud mother of two amazing adult sons (24 and 33), and someone who’s always had a deep love for hospitality. I spent many years as an airline manager and destination representative for several Canadian airlines, which taught me how important it is to feel truly welcomed when you're far from home.

I moved to the United States in search of better opportunities for my children, but I’ve never lost touch with my roots—or my desire to share them. That’s why I created these spaces: not just to host guests, but to offer a warm, local, and truly Dominican experience.

What makes this even more special is that I grew up on this very street and lived here for 50 years. My parents, now 88 and 79, still live next door, and most of our neighbors have been here for just as long. It’s more than a neighborhood — it’s a close-knit community where everyone knows each
other like family.

I want my guests to experience that same warmth. Enjoy a traditional Dominican breakfast or lunch prepared by a neighbor, walk through the streets where I played as a child, visit the local barbershop, shop at the nearby market, or relax with a cold beer — just like we do here.

To me, hosting is about more than offering a place to stay. It’s about sharing a piece of home, culture, and connection. I'm always here to make sure my guests feel safe, welcome, and part of something real.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This isn’t just a neighborhood — it’s my home. I grew up on this very street and lived here for over 50 years. My parents still live just next door, and many of our neighbors have been here just as long. We’ve grown up together, supported each other, and built a true sense of community.

When I thought about opening my doors to guests, there was no question in my mind — this was the place. It’s a neighborhood I know by heart, where I know people look out for one another, and most importantly, where I know my guests will feel safe, welcomed, and embraced by the warmth of Dominican culture.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

What makes my property truly unique is the heart behind it. I created this space not just to host guests, but to share a way of life — one rooted in Dominican warmth, tradition, and community.
