The location is great. Easy access to beach. Safe neighborhood. Good parking. Living area is well styled. Kitchen well stocked. Sheets/linens high quality. What made me rate it less than 5 stars: layout of space was not clear unless you read othersâ reviews. That is, both bedrooms and all bathrooms (and nothing else) are on first floor. Living area and kitchen (but no bathroom) on second floor. I did not pick up on that when I booked the place for me and my mom (age 83). She had some difficulty with traversing the space and so if you have older family or family with mobility issues, this is not the best choice for you. Stairs are straight and pretty steep to second floor. None of this is the ownerâs fault of courseâŠI just wish it was made more clear before I booked. Second issue: the downstairs (bedrooms and bath) are humid. While the space was clean, itâs an uphill battle with humidity in the south, so if you have allergies, be aware. We were there on a weekend in Jan, so canât say how it would be in other months. Finally, while bedding itself is great quality, the mattress (daybed) in the secondary bedroom was not especially comfortable imo, tho if you prefer a very, very firm mattress it may be great for you.
