You'll have a fully equipped kitchen for meals, a pool table and ping pong in the game room for entertainment, rocking chairs where you can chat, and a fireplace inside for peaceful evenings. The screened-in deck is great for year-round relaxing, and the home also has a washer/dryer and a nice mix of bedding – including 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 1 full bed, 1 twin bed with a trundle, and 1 queen sleeper sofa.

Wow!

This home had it all. Ping pong, hot tub, downstairs game area, large rooms for our needs. The house exceeded our expectations. The proximity to grocery, wineries, white water rafting, river tubing, hiking was exceptional. We will be back to Dr’s Orders.

Great weekend getaway for our families!

We had a great time! Our family or 4, plus our friends and their family of 4 had a great time on the Labor Day holiday! We spent the weekend swimming at the beach club and paddling in the lake, and evenings playing ping pong and laughing on the deck. The property is as-described on the listing and our families of 4 adults and 4 children were comfortable with the arrangements! We had a minor accident as one of our kiddos accidentally broke something, but the management company was gracious and attentive when we messaged to let them know. We appreciated their kindness and patience! Overall- we had a wonderful stay!

Family Vacation in Big Canoe

We were a family of six. There were enough bedrooms for all of us. Doctor’s Orders had a Keurig Coffee maker, toaster, griddle, crockpot, and a mixer. Plenty of plates, glasses, silverware, skillets, pans, cookie sheets and kitchen utensils. The grandchildren enjoyed the pool table, table tennis and the hot tub. We spent a lot of time in the screened in porch. We cooked a couple meals on the gas grill. We did not use the amenities because everything cost money. We wanted to use the pool, water rock slide and sit by the lake but it cost $20.00 each per day. We were told we would have free pool passes but that was not true. We did walk on the upper and lower falls trails which was challenging but enjoyable. Two days we enjoyed area attractions. We had a nice vacation but would not stay in Big Canoe Resort again.
