Welcome to our charming Hobbit house in the heart of Louisville's historic Clifton neighborhood! This cozy and unique 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home offers a magical retreat for your stay in the Derby City.

As you approach the house, you'll be greeted by the cool front door that gives this home its distinctive character. Step inside to discover a warm and inviting atmosphere, with comfortable furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout.

Place was fun and unique. Bed was comfortable, space clean, cute decor. Great location close to lots of things to do and eat. Couple snags with stay, out owners control and owner was great and went above and beyond. Will definitely stay again.

Adorable house in a wonderful neighborhood! House had plenty of space for our Friendsgiving celebration (including a loft where the teens sequestered themselves). And while there are a lot of stairs, the main level (which includes two bedrooms and a bathroom) is handicap-accessible, which we appreciated!

Beautifully renovated and clean home in a traditional and quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to some great restaurants and bars. Well stocked with everything you'll need. The two main level bedrooms are well removed from the main living areas. The lower level master suite offers great privacy, just be careful of the steep stairs down. Will definitely stay again!

Wonderful place to land!

We stayed in this house over spring break with three kids and three adults. We love staying in quirky, interesting houses. The mattresses were SO comfortable, the fireplace was great for a cozy movie night. We tried the coffee shop across the street, but really loved the Witches Brew Cafe down the street. Would absolutely stay here again if we come through Louisville again!

Beautiful Home/Great Area for Coffee & Food

Perfect place to stay for a long couples weekend. Great area for morning walks and coffee, brunch or patio bars at night. Home has great outdoor seating areas as well. The pictures don’t do the house justice with great mix of old and new, nice Tolkien touches if you’re a fan. We were easily able to hit Downtown Louisville, Bardstown and Lexington in 3 days. Have already recommended to friends. Would happily stay again.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful time at the Hobbit House in Louisville! The house is gorgeous and in a great location. There are several coffee shops & restaurants within walking distance. The host was great as well, and made sure we had everything needed for a great stay. If I find myself back in Louisville I would definitely book this property again!

This remodeled home provided us with a great stay while in Louisville. The remodel left some of the charm of the building with updated amenities. We would use this location again.

Love the Hobbit House

Our family met here to celebrate Christmas since we live in different cities. It was perfect for us and beds comfy. Kitchen was small but had everything we needed for the little cooking we did. Good job of updating it! We would rent again.

Had a great stay at the Hobbit House

We had a 4 night stay at the Hobbit House during Bourbon and Beyond Festival. The house is very clean and well appointed. Ample street parking if bringing more than one vehicle. Several restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The neighbors were incredibly friendly and we spent much of our time on the front porch with coffee watching the happenings of the neighborhood. Would definitely stay again when back in town.

This home is beautiful, spacious, clean and updated. We had three people, so plenty of room. Washer and dryer access was an added bonus.

Love The Hobbit House!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was our first visit to Louisville and we found that the location of this property was perfect for getting around. Quiet neighborhood. Cute little coffee shop across the street and several shops as well within walking distance. Freddie was an excellent host. Would highly recommend.

Awesome Property!

The Hobbit House is absolutely incredible. Fredie is very friendly and helpful. The house was super clean and the location is excellent. They have done a fantastic job renovating the house. I don’t have enough good things to say about this property. If you’re ever in Louisville, you need to check this place out.

Perfect Location!

What a fantastic house! We will most definitely be staying here again. There were many great restaurants close by and not a far walk to downtown. We couldn’t ask for anything more.
