Opened in 2015, this massive Lodge, sitting on 10 Acres and featuring an Indoor Heated Pool, is full of features for your family or group! It sleeps up to 30 Guests!
(Price is base on up to 20 guests. Additional Guests who are 5 years old and older are $20/person, per night, for the duration of the stay.
Kids that are 4 and younger stay for free and don't need to be counted.)

In addition to the Pool, it has 2 Hot Tubs, a Game and Entertainment Room, with Pool Table, Ping Pong Table, Large TV with DirecTV, another DirecTv in the huge Great Room and much more.
It has Full Kitchen, with 2 each of most of the appliances!

For additional guest, there is also a separate, 8-Person Bunk House that can be rented by email, for an extra fee, after 30 guests have been paid for.
The Western Lodge is located on privately-owned land, conveniently located in Ohio's Hocking Hills region, near Logan, OH. This huge lodge has lots to offer!

It has 10 private bedrooms (one of those is a 4-Bunk Set bedroom) and sleeps up to 30 guests!

Base Price is for up to 20 guests. Additional Guests who are 5 years old and older are $20/person per night, for the duration of the reservation.
Kids 4 years old or younger stay for free and don't need to be counted.

There are 5 1/2 Bathrooms.

It has an upgraded, Full Kitchen, with 2 Oven Ranges, 2 Microwaves, 2 Dishwashers, 2 Coffee Pots, 2 Refrigerators, Granite Countertops and more!

It has its own Indoor, Heated Pool, 2 Hot Tubs, a Pool Table and Ping Pong Table, plenty of Deck Space, a Great Room, an Entertainment Room, Free WiFi internet and DirecTV.

On the property, about 50 feet away, there is an 8-Bunk Set, 1 Full Bath, Bunk House, with a Kitchenette, AC and Heating. It is NOT included with the lodge reservation, but can be reserved , by email, for an extra fee, once at least 30 guests are paid for in the main lodge.

This lodge is very popular...it routinely books a year or more in advance, so reserving early is recommended.

We had a great time this weekend on our trip. There was a couple things that could have been improved. The temp of the house was cold the entire weekend and we tried to increase the temp but it just took too long or was too inconsistent between rooms.

The house was nice and large with lots of space for our large family. Soon after we arrived the electricity went out. The house has no back up generator. We had to purchase hundreds of dollars worth of firewood to keep from freezing and their pipes from freezing doing them a favor. Light fixtures were full of dead bugs. Ceiling fans were covered in dust. Furniture was broken and ripped. Pictures onlice show nice hardwood floors, floors were old dingy carpet with burn holes. The house is full of liabiliaties. No safety features for fire places or tools for them. Floor vent covers were just set on top of the air ducts not even fastend to the floor. Holes in some walls. One of the 2 ovens didn't work. 2 of the beds had dirty sheets on them. There was so much wrong, I've forgotten it all! Contacted the host after the stay with no response before writing this review. For the price we paid per night, we expected a well maintained home. That is not what we got.

Annual Friends Vacation

Property was great, easily accommodated our group of 30! Huge kitchen and thank goodness for 2 stoves, refrigerators, microwaves. Perfect buffet style meals. Large bonfire area, we actually found someone on Facebook Market who delivered a pickup full of firewood that was incredibly reasonable (90), a lot cheaper than buying it on the roads. Would definitely recommend.

Needs maintenance inside and out. We encountered broken door knobs, missing locks, dirty/rusty floor vents. The legs of chairs in the pool room severely rusted... one of my grandchildren got cut on one. Grass growing up thru deck and deck boards rotted thru.

A very fun and relaxing experience.

We enjoyed the large great room as it was very conducive for social activity. The outdoor space was phenomenal for playing with the kids and sitting by the firepit. Overall, a nice property that fit our group's needs. The only feedback would be that the lock on the pool door was broken upon arrival; however, someone did come out the next day to fix it. Several of the other doors were a struggle to lock/open as well. Some minor upgrades there would be useful.

Perfect house for family reunion

We had three generations stay in this cabin with a total of 23 people. Plenty of room to spread out and lots of spaces to come together.The main room and eating room were very comfortable - the pictures looked a bit sterile / plain, but it was cozy and welcoming. I'd highly recommend bringing lots of firewood to keep the fireplace running if renting in the winter as the great room is so large that the only way to warm it up well is the fireplace. Having two of everything in the kitchen is always a blessing with a crowd this size. The pool was a hit with everyone and so were the dual hot tubs! Lots of seating outdoors with decks all around. We were there on the coldest weekend of the year and the only downside was the heat for individual rooms. The two rooms by the pool were frigid, and rooms above it were hot (even with closing off the vents to redirect the air). But all in all, great place for large groups!

The Perfect Holiday Getaway!

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our Holiday Hooplah! This lodge was an absolute dream for our group of 38, offering the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and functionality. Here’s what made it stand out: • 10 Spacious Bedrooms: Each room was cozy, well-appointed, and made it easy for everyone to get a good night’s sleep (when the kids finally settled down!). • Giant Kitchen Goals: A kitchen designed for entertaining! Two refrigerators, two dishwashers, and two ovens meant we could whip up meals for our large crew without breaking a sweat. • Living Room Perfection: The massive living room, complete with a real wood-burning fireplace, was the heart of the lodge. Whether it was cozying up for a chat or laughing late into the night, it set the perfect atmosphere. • Indoor Pool Magic: The indoor pool was a hit with kids and adults alike—a fantastic feature that kept everyone entertained for hours. • Hot Tub Heaven: Not one, but two hot tubs! Perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a day full of fun and laughter. • Plenty of Space: With room to truly spread out, no one ever felt cramped. From the common areas to the outdoor space, there was a spot for everyone to enjoy.If you’re looking for a getaway that combines comfort, functionality, and fun, this lodge is unbeatable. Huge house with tons of space

We love the heated indoor pool and the two hot tubs. The property was beautiful and peaceful. Could definitely use updated pots and pans though. And some new furniture as is it was pretty worn

Such a nice lodge!

I reserved the Western lodge and Black Eagle lodge for an Executive Team meeting. I have booked the Western Lodge before as well and never disappointed. It is wonderful. Thank you again for a great stay

Very Relaxing and comfortable

What an amazing experience. Plenty of room and privacy for everyone and plenty of things for everyone to do. The lodge was used as a staff getaway and everyone was amazed at the ambiance that the lodge offered and thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Definitely worth the money!

Everything was as good or better than advertised. Loved the spacious front yard for games and throwing balls. Loved the pool and bought an indoor volleyball set for it. Only negative was the smell of the septic in the back.

Better than Advertised

The place was perfect for us. We had 12 adults who are all high school friends and we get together once a year for a Fantasy Football Draft. We ordered a vollyeball net for the pool which was a huge addition. One thing we did not realize we would love so much was the spacious front yard. We gathered there and tossed balls and played lawn games. Only negative? The backyard and porch smelled like septic. Otherwise, superb.

Very shabby and old

Property is not worth the price that we paid. Everything is shabby and dated. The AC was not working in half of the house. There was no hot water. The towels are century old and bad. Doors are without latches. Overall not a best place to stay except that it’s suitable for a large group accommodation.
