Fishing Trip

Our stay was good; we will rebook and stay again. The only small negative thing I would say is that the drive from the public boat ramp is about 30 minutes. So, if you are going to load and unload your boat daily, it's something you have to plan for.....overall, I'd recommend it to my friends.

Awaiting the eclipse

The property was a seemingly pretty new doublewide trailer with easy access to a lake with a dock for fishing. There was a nice back porch for eating meals. We were able to drive into Brownwood for a fantastic dinner at a restaurant called the Turtle, I believe. Should be checked out. The food was excellent. We had a great time.

The property is nice but it was not cleaned. There was pet hair all over the floor in all the rooms. The patio areas were nice but not cleaned and full of webs and dirt. It was obvious the dock area had also not been kept up as there was trash and debris.

This particular neighborhood in Lake Brownwood had the best lake views and access to best part of the lake for activities and fishing.

On the way to the house you will see number of ranches with beautiful horses strolling at times.

It is located in a quiet neighborhood, we have the responsibility of maintaining the peace and quiet for neighbors who live there. This when communicated to guests we have seen is great to bring right guests who love our home like theirs and are respectful of neighbors.

It is close to lake brownwood state park which is a great . Photographing the wildlife, wildflowers and birds at the park are also popular at Lake Brownwood State Park. The wildlife includes; white-tailed deer, ducks, raccoons, armadillos and squirrels.

It’s also close to number of great towns like Early, Brownwood, May,Santa Ana,Bangs. The neighboring towns offer shopping for gifts, clothing, antiques and more. You will also find a variety of dining in the local towns. The museums and festivals are also fun.

According to Texas Parks and Wildlife fishing is good to excellent for white and hybrid/striped bass, good for largemouth bass and catfish, and fair for crappie, sunfish and freshwater drum on Lake Brownwood.

This season lake is 100% full.

The placement of the property gives an amazing view of the huge open part of the lake. Because of the landscape you not only have amazing views literally from any part of the back yard but also have some incredible photo spots.
The sunrises are amazing with the dock and the landscape in the front of it . You don’t want to miss the surprising on the beautiful lake . The sunsets are great from the front yard.
The dock sits in a place where you can launch your water craft and anchor your boats. You can also simply hangout in the dock with it bumping bopping with boats passing through. It is swimmable close to the dock but with caution and local reports about water level in the lake.
The house having 4 rooms makes it a great place to enjoy with a family group.
