Great house

The house was very cozy, in a good neighborhood. Shopping close by. We went to SeaWorld and it was close by. The house was huge and very clean.

Close to Lackland Air-force base!!

Was perfect for our large family to stay for bmt graduation. Made it so our daughter had down time and could relax with all the family around. Host was AMAZING! Responded to messages quickly!

Thanksgiving with our Dad

My family traveled 500 miles to spend this Thanksgiving holiday with our Dad who is in a Veteran foster home. The home was the perfect size for our family meal . House was very nice n neat upon arrival, had a nice yard for our pets to run and play. The home is in the center of San Antonio and was near our Dads home. Family enjoyed it.

Spacious, but could use better upkeep and preparationThe property was large and had plenty of room for our family, which we really appreciated. It worked well for a larger group in terms of space.However, for a house that sleeps up to 15 people, there are only two parking spaces, and there is very limited street parking without feeling like you are inconveniencing the neighboring homeowners.The home was also not well stocked for a large group. There was only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, no extra paper towels, and no additional garbage bags beyond what was already in use, so we had to purchase those ourselves. There also were not enough kitchen or bathroom towels for a house meant to accommodate 15 guests.The yard was overgrown, the grass had not been cut, and there was old charcoal left in the grill. The house was picked up, but it did not feel thoroughly clean. There was noticeable dust, dirt under furniture, and dirt in the corners, dirty walls, missing trim. One safety concern was the step down into the living room. Several people tripped, and there was no warning or marking.Overall, the home has great space and potential, but it needs better cleaning, stocking, outdoor maintenance, and clearer parking expectations.

We do want to gently note that your reservation was for 7 guests, so some of the supply comparisons to a “15-guest home” may not fully apply to your stay. We stock the home based on the number of guests on the reservation, and we’re always happy to coordinate additional supplies ahead of time if needed 😊 Regarding the grass, San Antonio has been getting a lot of rain lately and the yard does grow quickly between visits. We do our best to stay on top of it! On the cleanliness, we take that seriously and have already followed up with our housekeeping team to ensure every corner and detail gets the attention it deserves going forward. As for the step down into the living room, thank you for flagging that. We are in the process of adding clear signage and marking so future guests are aware. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention! We hope to have the opportunity to host you again and show you the improvements firsthand. Thanks again for staying with us!

Its was a comfy place to stay for the 3 days we bookes. A few issues we had just as a FYI. One glass crack literally in my hand just rinsing it, went to grab another tall glass ans there's another 2 that are chipped on the rim. There was a chair in the dining area that looks like its about to break, we only had 1 full roll and a half roll in each bathroom with 7 guest ans 2 child which did not last and had to buy my own toilet paper to make it 1 more day. On of thise rolls was actually dirty. Under beds was not swept and had dead big bugs and even found socks rolled up from what i assume was the previous rental people. The last thing which I'm sure can't be helped is the dogs running freely pooping in the yard and somehow trash gets flown or chewed in the front of the house from the dogs or destroyed by vehicles. Please don't take this as a compliment just some things to maybe double check for future renters. The area was quite and again the house had a cozy and comfy feel.

Home away from home

An absolute amazing place to stay. Perfect way to unplug from all the noise and celebrate family. Only 1 TV in the main living room, so we sat around and talked and laughed. We simply enjoyed being able to see our Airman after such a long time away. Ale and Rib are amazing hosts and they think of everything that will assist with your stay. I always forgot the little cotton rounds when packing for my trip, and wind up having to buy some, but when I walked into the bathroom there was some sitting upon the counter. That is just 1 of several small gestures that makes this place great! 10 out of 10 recommend this home.

The property was a very pleasant surprised. Driving up to the house I was a little concerned about the size for our family. But once we were in the house was perfect. Our family age ranged from 1-61. Several very thoughtful items were left for us at the house. Such as extra toothbrushes, baby wipes, a few snacks, soaps and much more. The only thing I would suggest is to bring a fan. The bedrooms do not have ceiling fans and the house during the day was a little warmer than my family liked.
