Great House

Everything was great, just had a bit difference. Like the sofas on the picture weren’t the same and were NOT comfortable and only 1 room had a mirror, also the small restroom pressure to shower was to strong Other than that it was great.

House is fine, owners great, location loud and sketchy

This is an older house with some good upgrades. It was very clean. Owners communicated throughout the stay which made us feel good. I picked it because of its great reviews, proximity to Riverwalk, and it has four rooms. House is stocked with essentials and linens, blankets, and towels. Parking is behind a gate which made us feel better because it is in a sketchy neighborhood. However, we will not be returning. We did not find the beds or couch comfortable. One bed had plywood in place of the cross slats. No one wanted to use the small shower. The furniture and decor was a mix of old and new. Many reviews call it a "quiet" neighborhood. We heard train horns all night. The neighbors across the street played loud music from their front porch until 11pm every night. They stayed up talking loudly even past that. On our last night, the neighbors were out there at 7pm playing loud music until midnight, and they stayed up talking loudly and laughing all night long until we left at 7am. My girlfriend also heard a small creature on the roof every night. We never got a good night's sleep. None of the reviews I read mentioned anything like this, but I can't imagine we were the only ones with this experience.The house is fine overall. Owners are great and very thoughtful. But if you stay here, be prepared for some loud nights.

Home away from home

We misplaced our key the first night after coming back from town. The host was available after 10 pm to help. The place was very close to the convention center,river walk and Alamo. We were stress free because we only needed 3 minutes to be in town. The host as all the basic things you could need to cook a simple meal. It was a home far from home. Will go back any time

Short stay

The home reminded me of my grandmother’s house growing up. It is older but has everything you need. It had enough room for all of us to sleep comfortably. Location was close to everything we planned on doing while there. Would definitely stay again when we are back in San Antonio.

Just as Discribed!

A family graduation with a short visit to San Antonio. This property was in a excellent location to downtown San Antonio and the Riverwalk. The home provided plenty of amenities TVs in each room with basketball an a outdoor pool table. Had lots of fun, with stay here again in our next visit.

Great Location Near All Highways

We had a great stay !. Plenty of room and easy access to highways. Lots of kitchen appliances made it great to cook breakfast to start our day. Beds were comfortable and the AC worked great. Highly recommend this house for your stay in San Antonio. Owner was great and made sure everything was perfect and answered questions very quickly.

Very comfortable home

My husband and I stayed here with our two young kids and were very pleased. It's a kid-friendly place, the beds are super comfy, and we loved that we could play pool out back after putting the kiddos to bed. Would definitely stay again.

Great Location, Great Place to Hangout

The location of the house was walking distance to the Alamodome and just a short drive to the River Walk. The back porch was a great place to hangout. It has a wood or charcoal BBQ and chiminea, pool table, ping pong table and fooseball table, wicker couch with foot rests, benches and chairs. The back porch was the perfect place to watch the New Year fireworks display. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our entire stay, it was a great home away from home.

Perfect location walking distance to coliseum

Was very convenient. We booked for BOA and could walk to the venue. River walk is not much further, can walk. Worked out great for us. Was very quiet at night, slept good. Thanks.
