All the little things were excellent, they really pay attention to detail. The pontoon was great for traveling to the swimming beach. Everything needed was there. Had a wonderful time. Great for the whole family.

Everything you need

This place was perfect for a short getaway! The location was peaceful and there were plenty of things to do at the house. The host thought of everything! Communication with the host was quick, friendly, and helpful.

Great stay for large groups

The place was perfect for our group of friends. The house had plenty of space and beds to sleep 12 people more than comfortably. The house was fully stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. The game rooms garages were a great addition. Would recommend if you need to be in the area and looking for a place to stay.

Amazing Place!

We had a large group of guys and this property was perfect! Lots of beds to sleep a lot of people, then two garages converted to game rooms with a large yard for yard games, and a fire ring, an excellent outdoor area to hang out and entertain a large group with many different activities. We all had a lot of fun. The price was also very reasonable and a lot more affordable compared to other places we were looking at.

Weekend with family

Our group really enjoyed the location and the many activities that were available. Kayaking, fishing, and swimming were great for the hot days of summer. The county park near by on the lake had a nice sandy beach and was not too busy despite being the fourth of July weekend. There was a lot of room to spread out both inside and outside to allow our large family to break off and spend some one on one time in smaller settings. The two garages had several game options. There were 2 different fire pit locations to pick from. The kitchen was very large and acommodating for us all. Communication replies from our host were prompt and helpful.

When we got there the temp inside the house when we got there was 64‱. It took a while to heat the whole house up. Positives were there were throw blankets everywhere so every one hunkered down. One of the bedrooms off the kitchen had a bed with only box sor

Great times @ NamaStay !!!

This place had it all. 2 garages full of games with something for everyone. Perfect for our family's age group which ranged from 5yrs old up to 65 yrs old ! Pontoon boat was pretty nice and worked out great for our group to go to the Marl Lake beach. The teens also enjoyed being able to go fishing with the kayaks. Nice fire pit with Adirondack chairs and plenty of wood provided. The house looks like they've done A LOT of recent updates inside, very nice and plenty of room to spread out for some privacy when needed. They also do a great job of providing just about everything needed in the kitchen, dining/living rooms, bathrooms and bedrooms. We would highly recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely be going back for some more fun and relaxation. Thank you to the NamaStay team !!!

Technical difficulties

During our stay we did have technical difficulties with the heated water. The host was able to get a plumber out there as soon as possible. Overall, the host communicated and responded. Although the host did seem to think we were incompetent, he was able to be reachable at most times. He was willing to also give us a refund due to the no heated water. Much appreciated.

Not ao good as expected seen online

The basement is too cold and cannot fix the tempreture. Ice cube maker not working properly, one bathroom doesnot have lock so someone have to stay outside or need to inform all whoever going bathroom. Another bathroom door have to lift up yo lock.

The cabin is overall quite cute and only a short downhill walk to the lake. The lake is fairly small (& a no wake lake), but does have a decent beach across the way that we visited daily! We opted to rent the pontoon boat, which was pretty worn down, had a broken fuel gauge, and was difficult to start (it took 3 engineers and one of my friends who works on boats for a living 30 minutes to start it). It also had an extension cord running through the water to the boat, which seemed like a huge safety hazard. Given the state of the boat, it was not worth the 400 to rent in my opinion. The cabin itself was functional, though one of the upstairs bathrooms was quite small and all of the males in our group couldn’t sit on it without jamming their knees into the wall. The coffee maker definitely needs an upgrade, as it took an hour to make 1 pot of coffee. Additionally, I’d recommend getting trash bags that actually fit the trash bins, they were cheap ones that didn’t fit so they were constantly falling down.
