The Mulberry House for Fun in Fruita

Location, location, location! The Mulberry House is the perfect place to spend time with friends and family while exploring everything that Fruita and the surrounding area has to offer. My home is fully furnished with a cozy atmosphere that will provide a comfortable landing spot after your day of adventure. The kitchen is well equipped if you are going to be preparing meals in. You will be a short 3 minute walk to the quaint downtown area to experience great dining, visit some breweries and shop in the unique boutiques in town. It's all just a block away from the Mulberry House.

I would be happy to have you stay at my three bedroom home while you are visiting the quaint town of Fruita. I spend a lot of time camping and traveling so while I'm away you may stay and play. Fruita is a great spot to visit if you are into outdoor activities. It is very well known for biking, hiking, rafting, golfing, and its proximity to the Colorado National Monument. Outings to the Grand Mesa and Moab, Utah are popular day trips from our location. Fruita also hosts many annual events including Mike's the Headless Chicken Festival and the Fat Tire Festival just to name a couple.

My two story yellow home is right in the middle of the action. It's not fancy but it's cozy and you will find it a comfortable spot to hang out while you are in town. There is space in the garage for guests to store bikes and other equipment that needs to be kept safe. I have a backyard area that offers a place to relax, cook and dine outdoors or sit by a propane fire pit in the cool evenings. It's nice and shaded in the afternoons to get out of the heat in the summer.

You will be able to wander to town to take advantage of great dining establishments, including the well known Hot Tomato Pizza. There are a few breweries within a block of the Mulberry House if you would like to sample some of the area's tasty craft beers. Outdoor entertainment in the Mulberry Plaza takes place right down the street from my yellow house. Unique shopping opportunities are also just a few steps away.

The location makes access to downtown restaurants and stores. Comfortable beds and very clean. Great place to cook with an induction stove, large refrigerator and outdoor grill.

Quiet, excellent spot on town

Great property, fully furnished which we appreciated to be able to cook a couple meals. Easy to walk to downtown. Quiet with a nice back patio to relax on.

I've stayed here twice and it's been great. The location is perfect, just steps away from the city center, the market is very close, lots of dining options. The house is very comfortable and quiet, fully equipped.

Everything was great! Great location, just a block from the Hot Tomato. A lot of thoughtful details in the house (easy to find light switches and plugs next to the bed, lots of hooks in the bathroom and bedroom). Easy parking in the driveway out front. Host was very communicative during check-in. Would definitely stay here again!

An Ideal Place to Stay in Fruita

Downtown and City Market are within walking distance to the Mulberry house, an ideal place to stay in Fruita. The home was very clean and well equipped, which made cooking a pleasure. We are looking forward to returning to the Mulberry House soon.

Great location for bikers

This is a great location, right near downtown! It's 1 block from beer, burgers, and bikes. The house is very cozy, like being at home. The kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of room. The host responded quickly to our questions.

The Mulberry House is absolutely lovely. Spacious and everything is done with such thoughtfulness. It was the perfect home for our family while my sister & I completed the Rim Rock Marathon and our parents came to cheer us on. We found ourselves gathering in the living room, each one of us finding a comfortable spot on the couch, kicking our feet up. Depending on the time of day we enjoyed the warm sun on the front porch or backyard. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked for us to cook and enjoy meals at home. It was great to have laundry available, especially after the race. And Sharon, thank you! She was very responsive, warm, welcoming and would just check in here and there. When we're back in Fruita, we know where we'll stay!

Good!

Overall this home suited the purpose- comfy home, lots of decor to look at! Only downside was the A/C unit didn’t work too well and the room listed with two twin beds had only one actual bed and a couch type unit. Sharon was easy to communicate with and her willingness to make sure our stay was a pleasant one was appreciated.

Thanks Brenda for the comments. I’m sorry for the warm weather. Swamp coolers do not operate as well as an air conditioner, especially during humid days. I do wish I had central air tho. The room with twin beds is a daybed with a trundle under it that pulls out. I’m sorry that was not satisfactory for your stay. Perhaps I should switch to a bunk bed situation? In any case, thank you so much for your visit and your feedback.

Grand Junction getaway

Overall the house was great and was accurately depicted in the description and pictures. The host was very gracios to let us check in early due to us attending a concert. She was also very communicative and checked on us to ensure we got in okay and everything was good at the house. The house was within walking distance to restaurants and grocery store so that was very convenient. We will definitely try staying next time we are in Junction area!

The Mulberry House

I really can't say enough about the Mulberry House. It's a great place to stay if you are coming to Mountain Bike. The location is fabulous. It's right downtown so you are in the heart of Fruita. Easy access to the trails too. It's a quaint 3 bedroom with a lovely yard. The host Sharon offers her garage to store your bikes and whatever toys you bring. I can't say enough about Sharon. She is wonderful. She communicated with me daily to make sure everything was going well. She answered all of my questions and was always cheerful and sweet and helpful. I can't wait to stay again.
