Welcome to Harriet’s Hangout located right next door to Clear Creek Metro Park and High Rock Adventures! Family friendly, spacious cabin sleeps up to 12 guests. 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, hot tub and expansive deck space. Newly finished walk out lower level includes arcade games, pool table, wet bar with mini fridge, 70” smart tv with soundbar, and wood burning stove. Outdoor area includes hot tub, plenty of seating, private hiking trails, natural caves, fire pit, and charcoal grill. Locally-owned and operated family friendly cabin located in the picturesque Hocking Hills region- the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.

Enjoy rest and relaxation surrounded by soaring sandstone cliffs and natural caves.

Private hot tub and walking trail, bonfire pit, charcoal grill (must bring charcoal/wood). Outdoor dining tables, large wraparound deck that overlooks Clearcreek Metro Park.

Fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances.

Cozy cabin. Great family room space. Very clean and decorated cute. Driveway was a bit of a challenge which we don’t know about until check in. Only suggestion would be a small table downstairs to play cards at.

The house was lovely. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub (digital display not working but warm enough and jets working), and the all around ambiance and furnishings.Though very convenient to 33 for visiting restaurants and hiking, the continuous traffic noise interfered with otherwise peaceful outside surroundings, continued very late into the night, and very early in the morning.The communication was excellent and patient with several questions.

Wonderful spot for our Family vacation!

This house was perfect for our family! It was incredibly clean. I sent a message to the host while we were there and they responded right away. It's a beautiful house and the setup was perfect for the two of us and our two kids with their families. We would definitely recommend this home!

The house was large, clean and comfortable. We had plenty of room to play games, watch football, cookout and hang out in the hot tub. The basement was comfortable and it was so great to have a pool table and the video games. The back yard is private and well stocked with a table, chairs, grill, fire pit and hot tub. We had everything we needed for a terrific time. Very centrally located near Logan where we found plenty of stores and restaurants also plenty of hiking spots nearby. Don't miss the opportunity to rent a pontoon boat on Lake Logan. The slide was awesome. We will definitely return to Harriet's Hangout.

Plenty of room

What a great place for us to celebrate ours daughter’s doctoral graduation. We had a great weekend, even though it rained the entire weekend. The house was big enough we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other, everyone had space. Would definitely go back.

We booked this cabin after weeks of searching, and that wasn’t by accident. This trip was for our daughter’s 18th birthday, and it mattered. It was Mom and Dad, plus siblings—a full blended family. December in Hocking Hills means icy roads, snow, and stress if you choose wrong. I refused to put kids on dangerous back roads just to reach a remote cabin.What we wanted was simple but rare: a cabin that felt secluded but was right off the main road. Safe. Easy. No white-knuckle driving.This cabin was the only one that checked every box—and it exceeded expectations.Yes, it’s right off the freeway. But once you arrive, it feels completely remote. The cabin sits up on a hill, surrounded by trees, with its own private trails, rock formations, and caves. You don’t feel traffic. You don’t feel crowded. You feel tucked away in nature—without the risk.Inside, it was perfect for every age: plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, a cozy wood-burning stove, a pool table and arcade games for the kids, and a big-screen TV with surround sound the men loved. The hot tub was exactly what our daughter wanted—relaxing, peaceful, and memorable.Everything worked. Everything was clean. Everything was thoughtfully set up for real families.This wasn’t just a stay—it was a milestone memory. We would book this cabin again without hesitation.

Fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay here. Hocking Hills was amazing (even in the rain) and the cabin was a great place to come back after long days of hiking. The kids loved it...big enough so everyone had their own space. Loved the hot tub, grill, pool table, arcade games.Great hosts--communicated everything clearly and quickly.The only downside is that the stairs up to the cabin were incredibly slippery in the rain (3 of us took nasty tumbles). Maybe a sign of caution at the bottom?

Perfect

Cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed for our vacation. However, our little cars could not make it up the driveway and the weather was great. No worries though, there was convenient parking at the bottom- just made unloading the cars a bit more difficult but that’s what kids are for! Overall, a great time was had by all.
