Relax with your family or a few friends at our ranch located in a peaceful, country setting. Whether you need some time away with friends, or a family vacation, we have you covered. You can stay in the unique ranch themed house or head off in almost any direction and find yourself at a country bar or restaurant. Within a few miles, there are golf courses, wineries, country bars, floating down the river and lots of other things to do! Enjoy free day passes to Lake Summerset where you can enjoy the beach and pool upon request. There is also a super fun sports bar and bowling alley! We even have stables if you wish to bring a horse! In the winter, the snowmobile trail goes right through our property. KC House is also perfect for small events like a girls or guys weekend, a baby or bridal shower, or any number of other celebrations.

Guests have full access to the house/deck/ patio/yard. (Excluding horse areas such as barns, stables and arena)

The fourth bedroom is an open floor plan loft. This has a queen bed, sofa, chair, and television. It is beautiful and spacious, but we want our guests to be aware that there is no door or full wall dividing that space for privacy purposes.

The fifth bedroom is outfitted with two-twin size folding beds (one bed features a five-inch thick mattress and the other is standard) This room is located just around the corner from the family room on the bottom level and is more of a sleeping area, not an additional room with a door. ALL OTHER BEDROOMS ARE PRIVATE WITH DOORS.

We have horses on the property and are a full boarding facility all year long, as well. We feed & tend to the horses daily as well as other horse owners. You may see them entering the stable area or arena. This will not disrupt your stay and will only be in the barn & stables areas.

FITNESS AND EXERCISE - If daily fitness is a part of your routine, please ask about our gym located in Freeport, approximately 20 mins away. (Pretzel City CrossFit and fitness) We would be happy to accommodate you with a day pass during your stay. SAME DAY CHECK IN MAY BE AVAILABLE, MESSAGE ME TO CHECK!
Things to note:

NO SMOKING IN HOME. This includes, but is not limited to, cigarettes and marijuana.

NO FIRES INSIDE THE HOME OF ANY KIND

ALL OUTSIDE FIRES MUST BE IN DESIGNATED AREAS SUCH AS THE FIRE PITS PROVIDED BY OWNER

NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES ALLOWED ON PROPERTY. If any paraphernalia is found, a $300 fee will be assessed & law enforcement may be contacted.

NO PETS UNLESS APPROVED BY OWNER PRIOR TO YOUR STAY

GUESTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN ANY RESTRICTED AREAS, WHICH INCLUDE THE STABLES/BUILDINGS/GARAGE/PASTURES OR FIELDS. FOR YOUR SAFETY, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER ANY AREAS THERE ARE HORSES

NO PARTIES ARE ALLOWED AND WE ASK THAT ALL GUESTS BE RESPECTFUL OF THE AREA NEIGHBORS, ESPECIALLY DURING EVENING HOURS

NO UNDERAGE DRINKING

NO REMOVING ITEMS FROM THE PROPERTY THAT BELONG TO THE PROPERTY

IF ANY INCIDENTS OR MISHAPS SHOULD OCCUR, OWNER MUST BE NOTIFIED IMMEDIATELY

IF YOU BRING A PET, your pet must be controlled. Do not allow your pet near or inside any horse-designated areas. Your pet must not chase or be aggressive towards the horses.
