The property is mins from Boone, Blowing Rock and Beech Mountain. This awesome property features a cozy king bed and a comfortable queen bed, ensuring a perfect night's sleep for all guests. The living room offers additional space with a queen sofa bed, perfect for lounging or accommodating extra guests. Stay connected with WiFi, and enjoy the convenience of a washing machine and dryer. Plus, there's even a golf course, river trout fishing, community beach and pool use for an extra fee. Book now and enjoy everything this house has to offer! Luckily Hurricane Helene did not damage our house. It is available to rent, and the area would love visitors!!

We had everything we needed for cooking. The house was cozy and comfortable. We loved the little view and the pool table was a nice addition!

First problem is communication. We were making airline arrangements and had to call the agent after waiting 2 days for a response.Then messaged agent letting them know I didnt have the code to get in. 5 hours later still no code, called and again had to leave a msg. Then rcvd text stating sorry vrbo didnt provide the code. On the deck rail outside was a Zepbound injection pen. Once inside notified agent there was no shampoo in either bathroom and no soap in basement bathroom. We were staying for 5 nights. No response.The 2nd bath is in an unfinished basement garage not upstairs and its cold in November. We wanted to fish, the community stated needed owners permission, plus to pay a fee, they called so did we. No response. Cleanliness: Heavy dust on top of fridge, only noticed because we sat something on top, Bottom of rocker, trim, and blinds all needed cleaned. We found little kid undies and food in the couch. No kids with us. The dining table is round with a gisnt lazy susan like thing in the middle. We wanted to remove it to play games but couldnt. Its a beautiful table.The agent wants the diswasher ran before leaving but doesnt provide the detergent to do it. Maybe it was a fluke?The good: Its a beautiful location and easy to get to several areas. Bbq restaurant not far away is yummy. The kitchen is fully stocked with kitchen utensils. King bed comfie. Lots of bro hure about the area and we added more

The view of the river/creek is nice. And the neighborhood is very quaint. I would highly recommend The Peddlin Pig in banner elk if you like bbq. You will want to bring food to make at the house because the house is like 30 min from boone and blowing rock and restaurants close to the rental are slim pickings. I didn't recieve a code for the door so I had to text the owner who did respond quickly. Our family wanted to fish the river, but you have to get a permit to fish it and the owner has to be with you when you go to get it. Also the river is 20 feet at least down a steep bank that is almost impossible to get down. Also, the nice fireplace in the living room is off limits. So don't plan on being able to use it. The worst part of this rental is the CARPET IN THE MAIN BATHROOM. The other restroom is down in the cold basement/garage. I wore my shoes in the bathroom bc the floor always felt damp. There was also a constant musty smell in the whole cabin. Our clothes had a smell even after we got home. If the owners removed the carpet and put in any type of hardwood/tile/laminate flooring the rental would be a 10/10. If the carpet was taken out I would totally stay here again. If I had know ahead of time, I would have reached out to the owner to get a fishing permit.

We’ve rented many homes before, and while we enjoyed our stay and the beautiful view, there were a few issues worth mentioning.In the bathroom, only one light is working, and the fan isn’t functioning. We replaced the kitchen lights, as three were out and the others were flickering.When we arrived, there were spider webs throughout the property, and the porch and deck were quite dirty. My husband purchased spider spray, cleaned the deck, and also sprayed and cleared the webs in the garage, where the pool table is located. The yard needs to be mowed. We had two grandkids come for one night and we did not want them to go in the yard because of spiders and other things. However, with only one bathroom upstairs, it made it difficult to host friends, so we weren’t able to have one of our guests stay with us because of this reason. There isn’t a master bathroom, it is a shared bathroom on the same floor. The closets were cluttered with unnecessary items like lamps and other things so there was no room to store luggage, etc. The second bath is in the basement in the garage down stairs by itself. We could also use more clear instructions on how to use the television, as well as information about when and where to put the trash out for pickup. We contacted the host numerous times but never got a response. The house inside was clean and the beds were comfortable. Location was also good.

Lovely river view

Fourth visit to land harbor. This cottage had best views, most private. Really comfortable as 2 bedroom 1 bath as second bathroom not convenient. Highly recommend, and a great value.

The home and area are amazing. Tried to get in touch with property manager to get fishing permit confirmation for the lake and he never responded. Pool table in basement was missing balls. Ok stay, won't be going back.

Perfect peaceful view

Loved the back porch overlooking the bend in the river! There were so many song birds and chipmunks plus fireflies at night. The amenities in the neighborhood are wonderful from pickleball to the pool to the lake.

Comfortable cabin good location

Love the area. Cabin was nice. Appreciate comfort of furniture and beds. Well stocked. Beautiful view and deck. Downstairs bath THROUGH garage not a great feature due to location of it. That was only negative. Would still return as a couple who doesn't need 2nd bath.

We had a lovely stay at this property. It was just the right size for our family of three. The porch with the view overlooking the river was so comfortable, we loved sitting out there after long days of sightseeing and a wedding that we were in town for. I also loved having the king size bed in the master bedroom. The location was so convenient with restaurants and shopping very close by. Kitchen was well appointed and easy to cook in. We didn't use the amenities in the neighborhood but we drove by them and they looked just as described in the listing. We didn't find the basement very usable since it was very damp and musty, but it was nice having the extra bathroom down there. We also didn't love all of the carpeting, especially the carpet in the bathroom which always seemed to be damp, and the unit had a musty smell when we first arrived but was able to be aired out. All in all, would recommend and totally stay again.

Relaxing

Property was very comfortable. Was the most comfortable couch I had sat on in a long time. The king size bed was also very comfortable. We had everything we needed there available for us. Would have liked for the fireplace to have worked we did not use the amenities due to it being cold and raining.

Cozy Cabin

We really enjoyed out our stay. Not large, but very cozy for the four of us. Great view of river from main room. Equipped with everything we needed (except a toaster). Plenty of coffee and cocoa keurig pods. We had quite a bit of snow while there but the plowing of the neighborhood was good so we didnt have a problem getting in and out - about 20 min drive to Sugar Ski Resort - also not a problem. Would book again.

Outstanding View - but a disappointment

This cabin has one of the most beautiful views we have seen in LLH. Our disappointment was in the property description which does not advise that the second bathroom is on the lower level, down a flight of stairs and through the garage. We also had a glitch with the front door and never had a working dryer.

Relaxing Getaway!

This house was perfect for our weekend stay in the mountains. The Master bedroom was quite large, and the king size bed was very comfortable. We had a minor glitch with the front door lock upon arrival, but our host got back to me in literally two minutes and we were all set. Our favorite part though had to be the rocking chairs on the porch where we enjoyed a couple nice, quiet evenings away from the crowd. Thank you Ben for sharing your cozy house in the mountains, as well as your incredibly quick response when we were trying to check in. We will definitely be back!

Great house with river view

Cute home with living and bedrooms on one level so great for kids and seniors. Kitchen and bathroom was very clean and nice. Great view of the river. Deck is high enough for a nice cool mountain breeze. You can hear the river babbling by. Couch and beds were comfortable. Would rent here again!
